Over 2,000 People On Amazon Gave This Reusable Straw A Perfect 5 Stars

After news broke that McDonald’s and Starbucks are planning on eliminating the use of plastic disposable straws in their restaurants, the world applauded. Just think — every cold drink that’s sold comes with a straw that gets thrown out after minimal use. It’s wasteful when you look at the big picture. However, straws still serve some importance, especially to those who have sensitivities or disabilities that make it almost impossible to enjoy a beverage without. So, the best solution? A reusable straw.

Reusable straws make a lot of sense since they’ll allow you to enjoy your drink with minimal impact on the environment. It’s the best of both worlds.

In case you’re feeling unsure about the straw ban, here’s a fact that might make you think twice. Reuters reports that anywhere between 170-175 million straws are used per day — other sources believe it’s more like 500,000,000. Since nobody hangs onto their disposable straws, that means that, per the Reuters estimate, about 63,875,000,000  straws are, on average, are annually tossed. Admit it — you might not even be able to identify that number at first glance. Why have additional waste when it’s unnecessary?

Here’s some good news — a reusable straw won’t cost you an arm and a leg, and it’s something you can tuck away in any purse. Here’s the best reviewed reusable straw you can get on Amazon.

The Hummingbird Glass Straws have a perfect score. These straws, which are clear and bent, come in a pack of four with a special cleaner that’ll let you get the most life possible out of them.
