Everybody 1, 2, Prep! Easy 2 Ingredient Desserts to Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth
Ever go into the pantry with the hopes of baking a cake or cookies, only to find you’re missing some key ingredients? Here are some classic recipes with a twist – only TWO ingredients needed! Check out each dessert below for their full recipes and ingredient list.
Orange Creamsicle Cake
Ingredients:
1 can of Orange Soda
1 box Vanilla Cake mix
Preparation:
Pour the can of soda into a mixing bowl.
Add the box of vanilla cake mix and combine the two ingredients.
Pour the mixture into a baking pan of your choice and bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
Cool completely and top with your frosting of choice
Ice Cream Sandwich
Ingredients:
1-pint Vanilla Ice Cream
1 box of Brownie Mix
Preparation:
Cut the vanilla ice cream in half with a knife and save half for later.
Microwave the other half of the ice cream for 30 seconds and pour into a bowl.
Add the brownie mix and mix together until you get a dough-like consistency.
Using an ice cream scoop, scoop the dough into a greased baking sheet and bake at 350°F/176°C for 10-15 minutes.
Once cooled, take 2 cookies and place the remaining ice cream in between the two cookies. Press down lightly and enjoy!
Easy Fudge
Ingredients:
1 can of Frosting (any flavor works)
1 bag of Marshmallows
Preparation:
Place the marshmallows into a large bowl and microwave for 45 seconds. Repeat with the can of frosting.
Mix the two ingredients together until you get a smooth and runny texture.
Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze for at least 30 minutes
Pop the cubes out and enjoy!
Lemon Bars
Ingredients:
1 box Angel Food Cake Mix
1 jar of Lemon Curd
Preparation:
Combine the box of Angel Food Cake Mix with the jar of Lemon curd until you get a smooth texture.
Pour into a greased pan and smooth it out.
Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F/176°C, or until lightly golden.
Top with powdered sugar and enjoy!
Chocolate Souffle
Ingredients:
1 Egg
⅓ cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread
Preparation:
Crack the egg into a large bowl and beat until it is a pale yellow color.
Add in the chocolate hazelnut spread and fold it into the egg mixture gently.
Transfer the mixture into a greased heat-safe ramekin.
Microwave for 2 and a half minutes
Top with ice cream or powdered sugar and serve immediately.
