7 Ways to Put a Lid on Life’s Pesky Problems!

Enjoy these 7 on the go mason jar hacks to make every day easier.

Mason Jar Blender

Materials needed:

  • Mason jar (16 oz)
  • Compatible blender lid
  • Fruit and vegetables of your choice
  • Mason jar ring
  • Cupcake liner
  • Straw

Directions:

1.) Fill the mason jar with your choice of fruit or vegetables.

2.) Pour water until it covers the contents. 

3.) Screw on lid.

4.) Blender until smooth.

5.) Flip over a cupcake liner.

6.) Screw on the ring to secure the liner.

7.) Cut a straw at a diagonal and puncture the liner

Detox Water Strainer

Materials needed:

  • New sink strainer
  • Mason jar ring
  • Mason jar of your choice

Directions:

1.) Push the strainer into the mason jar ring to secure.

2.) Fill the jar with herb, citrus, and fruit of choice. 

3.) Pour water to fill the jar. 

4.) Screw on mason jar lid with a strainer. 

Mason Jar Salad Dispenser

Materials needed:

  • Mason jar (16 oz)
  • New pump
  • ½ cup Olive oil blend
  • ½ cup Red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Pinch of salt and pepper

Directions:

1.) Pour in oil, vinegar, mustard, salt, and pepper.

2.) Screw on pump attachment tightly. 

3.) Shake until incorporated evenly.

4.) Store in the fridge. 

Snack Dispenser

Materials needed:

  • Empty and clean carton
  • Mason jar size of your choice
  • Mason jar ring
  • Snack of your choice

Directions:

1.) Cut the top of the carton into a circle.

2.) Fill the mason jar with your snack of choice. 

3.) Pop on the dispenser lid to the ring.

4.) Screw on tightly. 

Mesh Shredder

Materials needed:

  • Produce bag
  • Mason jar
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • ¼ cup avocado
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon red onion
  • Pinch of pepper
  • Chopped parsley

Directions:

1.) Cut a round circle out of the mesh.

2.) Place it on the mason lid and secure the ring over top.

3.) Push through the eggs.

4.) Add avocado, mustard, dijon, red onion, pepper

5.) Mix until well incorporated

6.) Garnish with parsley

Herb Butter

Materials needed:

  • Mason jar with lid (16 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

1.) Pour in heavy cream, chives, and garlic in jar and close tightly. 

2.) Shake jar for 1 minute.

3.) pour out any excess water. 

4.) Transfer to a butter dish and refrigerate after use. 

Cinnamon Apple Oatmeal

Materials needed:

  • 4 oz unsweetened applesauce
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Quick Oats
  • 3 tablespoon Maple syrup
  • ⅛ cup Pecans
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon

Directions:

1.) Pour applesauce, milk, oats, maple syrup in a mason jar.

2.) Wash applesauce container and place cinnamon and pecans

3.) Use mason jar insert and flip onto mason jar and secure with ring.
