Is heat damage getting the best of your curls? Maybe your curls are dry, frizzy, and lacking definition. Get in the kitchen. I have a solution!
Even if your hair isn’t naturally curly, don’t forget the bigger the better. This food item can give any hair type volume, moisture, and strength.
It’s mayo! I know it sounds gross, but trust me it works. Curly hair tends to be drier than other hair types. Also once heat is applied to curls the ends are likely to become damaged and ruin the entire curl pattern. Mayonnaise will supplement the lack of protein in hair and revitalize it back with strength and bounce.
DIY: All you need is mayo. But if you want to add oils go right ahead. Only apply the mayo conditioner to freshly shampooed hair. Allow the mayo conditioner to sit for at least 20 minutes, then use a gentle shampoo to wash it out. If you’re still having doubts check out these youtube channels for a visual guide and testimonies. This conditioner really works!
