Golden Breadstick Napkin Holder
Difficulty: Easy • 6 servings • Total Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
11 oz premade bread dough
1 cup Cheddar cheese
¼ cup Unsalted butter
1 egg, lightly beaten
Directions:
Start by preheating your oven to 375°F.
Take a large piece of aluminum foil and cut it into six strips, each about 2½ inches long.
Roll each strip into a tube shape to form the core for your napkin rings. Lightly spray the foil tubes with nonstick cooking spray and set them aside.
Roll out your premade bread dough into logs that are about 3 inches long and 1 inch thick.
Wrap each dough log around a foil tube to form a ring, and pinch the ends together to seal.
Place the dough rings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the rings with an egg wash and sprinkle them with cheddar cheese.
Bake the rings for 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
Once the rings are cooled, carefully remove the foil tubes. Insert a folded napkin through each bread ring to create your DIY edible napkin rings.
