Coca-Cola Just Released Two New Fruity Flavors, And Our Taste Buds Are So Ready

From flavored seltzer to sparkling water, fruity carbonated drinks are having a major moment right now, and it’s easy to see why. They’re refreshing, tasty, and oh — did we mention refreshing? In fact, flavored bubbly beverages have become so trendy that Costco even made its own version of LaCroix. But if you’re a fan of all things fruity and bubbly, you might want to make room in your pantry for something just a little bit different.

As of today, January 16th, Coca-Cola has dropped two new flavors of Diet Coke: Strawberry Guava and Blueberry Acai. The release comes one year after Diet Coke unleashed a bold lineup of Ginger Lime, Zesty Blood Orange, Twisted Mango, and Feisty Cherry.

If you love the classic taste of a Coca-Cola, the concept of these fun and funky flavors might seem odd. (One can never forget the cinnamon-flavored Coca-Cola of 2018, a strange yet intriguing concoction.) However, according to an official Coca-Cola press release, the goal of these bold creations is to satisfy the adventurous taste of the modern-day consumer.

In other words, us millennials have some crazy taste buds, and you can be sure that corporate companies have noticed.

You can find Diet Coke Strawberry Guava and Blueberry Acai in 12-ounce cans in stores nationwide. But if you feel like stocking up — and forgetting that it’s the dead of winter — they’re also available in packs of eight.
