The Lemon Glaze Krispy Kreme Donut Is Coming Back For A Limited Time
Spring may have just sprung, but Krispy Kreme is already looking ahead to summer. The donut chain has re-released an old favorite that you’re either going to love or hate — the Lemon Glaze donut. Is that a pucker of delight, or…?
According to the Krispy Kreme website, the Lemon Glaze donut will only be available at select Krispy Kreme locations for one week online. From Monday, April 22nd, through Sunday, April 28th, you can pick up one or a dozen Lemon Glaze donuts for your citrus-loving friends.
“Lemon Glazed Doughnuts feature the perfect pairing of zesty fresh lemon and Krispy Kreme’s delicious Original Glaze,” Krispy Kreme writes.
You can check out Krispy Kreme’s site to see which stores in your area are participating in the limited-time event. Or, you know, to see which stores to avoid in order to beat the crowds.
The Lemon Glaze Krispy Kreme first appeared in April 2018 after America voted to add it to the menu. Like it did back in 2018, the Lemon Glaze donut is helping to usher in an entire selection of fruit-flavored, limited-edition donuts. Strawberry, Pineapple, and Lime Krispy Kremes will join Lemon Glaze on Monday, May 6th, so don’t ruin your appetite.

People were pretty freaking stoked about the introduction of the Lemon Glaze donuts back in 2018. The general consensus was that they were the bomb.com.

All in all, the Lemon Glaze Krispy Kremes were a must try. So, many did.

But, as is often the way, others weren’t impressed. The Lemon Glaze donuts were so-so, at best.
Some felt the need to attack the entire lemon-loving community. There’s nothing wrong with a cheese board, Annalyse.
