Khloé Kardashian Served Some Interesting Snacks At Baby True’s Birthday Party

True birthday party

Boy, does. It seems like we were waiting decades for Khloé Kardashian to give birth, but baby True turned one in April of 2019. And her mom celebrated in the most fabulous of ways. In addition to the beautiful decorations, True’s birthday party featured some pretty interesting cotton candy. The sweet treats were shaped like animals.

But not in a good way.

The cotton candy came from Los Angeles confectionary company Bon Puf Cotton Candy. And each bit of spun sugar looked like a bear, rooster, puppy dog, or pig. They were more than a little cross-eyed but still pretty cute. In fact, they were almost a little too cute to eat.

The company’s Instagram confirmed that Khloé was definitely a client. No matter what, it must have been a pretty high honor to be part of the celebration.

The cotton candy seemingly came later. It looks like True first started her party with literally all the balloons in the world.

Khloé had no problem going all out for the party. According to People, she had matching dresses made up for her and her daughter, and also hired on a “unicorn,” otherwise known as a mini pony wearing a pretty great costume.

Thompson posted a clip from True’s first birthday. In this video, you can also get a good look at True’s impressive jewelry. She’s only one year old, but she already dresses better than I do.

While Kourtney Kardashian was reportedly at the party, she also posted a cute little tribute to baby True online. It seems like her own kids absolutely adore her.

But, back to the cotton candy for a minute. While it’s the perfect treat to serve up at a birthday party, it doesn’t seem to go with the theme.

Khloé seems to focus on unicorns, but this specific treat didn’t even come in a unicorn shape. That is, unless there was one special unicorn design saved just for baby True. Perhaps something like this:

Truth be told, there are a lot of super cute unicorn cotton candy designs out there that would have been perfect. And unlike the animal shapes, their eyes aren’t as… prominent.

Now, don’t get me wrong…

They probably tasted fantastic, which is the most important part. I have a feeling that Khloé wouldn’t skimp on getting the very best for her daughter. But cotton candy has come a long way, and there were a lot of other things she could have chosen.

Dylan’s Candy Bar seems to do a few unicorn-friendly designs. This booth would have fit in perfectly at the party.

Is anyone else suddenly hungry for cotton candy? In any form, it’s such a great springtime treat.

Cotton candy may have inspired Khloé and a majority of her sisters when it came to hair as well. One of Khloé’s best looks was when she debuted very soft pink highlights this past December.

And you’re probably well aware of the fact that Kylie Jenner is fond of rocking pink hair on occasion. She just had her own baby birthday to celebrate — little Stormi turned one in February.

Kylie and Khloé were both sporting bumps at the same time — with Kylie’s being a secret — but who knows if they predicted that their two daughters would be as close as they are. How cute is this?

One thing is quite obvious — True looks like she’s having a great time, and having both of her parents there is a complete win.

But Khloé isn’t the only Kardashian mom to feed her kids slightly interesting things. In fact, Kourtney Kardashian’s children have an exceedingly healthy diet. Here a few of their more shockingly balanced snacks.

Scrambled Eggs

It’s almost shocking at this point that Kourtney and her kids don’t follow a strict vegan diet. Truly shocking.

Apparently, though, the family won’t go meat-free any time soon. Kourtney’s kids actually seem to love scrambled eggs, and she loves making them. That’s not even strange, so we’ll give her that one!

Cereal with Quinoa Clusters

Cereal, another breakfast staple in the Kardashian household, must meet certain standards.

Frosted Flakes or Cheerios aren’t approved; Kourtney only feeds her kids the healthy stuff. Her favorites include Kind Maple Quinoa Clusters and Puffins Honey Rice Cereal. Buy hey, at least her kids get to enjoy cereal in the first place, a childhood staple many of us have fond memories of.

Homemade Almond Milk

Since the family maintains a largely dairy-free diet, it’s not surprising they prefer non-dairy milk options.

Kourtney mentioned that her brood only drinks homemade almond milk, organic rice milk, or organic coconut milk. Emphasis on homemade! According to Minimalist Baker, this involves blending soaked almonds and using a nut milk bag to discard any excess pulp. Not as hard as it sounds!

Carrots and Celery with Hummus

Kourtney attempts to follow a mainly clean diet that consists of fresh fruits, veggies, and simple proteins. Honestly, we could use this as inspiration for our own grocery list.

Additionally, she loves to give her kids carrots and celery with hummus for lunch. We can live with that one, since that’s a snack that even non-celebs like ourselves love to chow down on.

Gluten-Free Tortillas

Don’t worry, Kourtney’s children get more than just veggies and hummus for lunch.

The fit mom also claims to give them “a gluten-free rice tortilla with sliced turkey meat or turkey dogs — no bun.” Kourt also likes sweet potato tortillas, which certainly sound interesting. Fortunately, gluten-free products are more widespread than they used to be.

Big Salads with Homemade Dressing

Is it any surprise Kourtney got her kids into those famous Kardashian salads?

In a post on her app, she wrote, “Penelope and I love salads, so we usually eat a big yummy one for lunch.” The mom went on to say, “I usually have [a salad] with some type of protein added, like chicken or salmon. Whenever possible, I try to make my own simple balsamic or ginger dressing since store-bought dressings have lots of unnecessary sugar and preservatives.”

Simple Dinners with Gluten-Free Pasta

Dinner doesn’t seem very elaborate in Kourtney’s home.

Instead, it’s super simple and healthy. The Kardashian notes that evening meals consist of lightly cooked veggies with gluten-free pasta. A protein like chicken, turkey, or fish typically rounds out dinner. Not the most exciting thing in the world, but hey, it gets the job done.

Gluten-Free Bread

It seems like Kourtney runs a pretty tight ship, but the mom does allow her children to indulge in treats sometimes.

She said, “When we were just in Italy, we all had pizza one night. But for the rest of the trip, I found that almost every restaurant had gluten-free pastas and gluten-free bread.”

She also stated, “When I’m traveling (and sometimes on the weekend), I’ll cheat — I’m a little more lenient now than I was when I first started this whole [diet] thing.”

If you’re going to cheat on your diet, it may as well be in Italy!

Homemade Baby Food

When Kourtney’s kids were babies, they definitely didn’t eat baby food out of a jar! No sir!

Kourtney personally prepared their mashed fruits and veggies. She said, “My mom bought me this amazing baby-food maker, the Beaba. I steam and puree fruits and vegetables, and they last for like four days.”
