Hot Chocolate with M&M Whipped Cream
Difficulty: Easy • 2 Servings • Total Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Holiday Milk Chocolate M&M’s (separate by color)
- ¼ cup Holiday Milk Chocolate M&M’s Minis
- 1 ½ cups Heavy Whipping cream
- 2 cups Hot Milk
Directions:
- Using a fork, puncture 4 small holes in the bottom of two coffee filters. Set each filter inside two separate small bowls. Add ½ cup red M&M’s into one bowl, and ½ cup green M&M’s into the other.
- Pour ¾ cup cold heavy cream over the M&M’s into each bowl and steep for about 2 minutes.
- Grasp each bowl and swirl the mixture until the color of the M&M’s changes the cream to red and green. Then pull the filter up to drain the colored cream from the bottom and set the steeped M&M’s to the side for later.
- Using a milk cream frother, froth the colored heavy whipping creams until stiff peaks form. Fill a piping bag fitted with a star tip with the colored whipped cream. To ensure the colors don’t bleed together, fill one side of the bag with red and the other with green. Doing this will create a red and green swirl effect.
- Add the steeped M&M’s into a mug and throw away the filter. The M&M’s should look like little brown chocolate chips since the color washed off.
- Pour the hot milk over the chocolate pieces and, using a spoon, combine the mixture to make hot chocolate!
- Then add your holiday swirl whipped cream to the top with a sprinkle of Holiday Milk Chocolate M&M’s Minis.
- Cozy up and enjoy this Holiday M&M hot chocolate!
Pine Nut Parmesan Crisps
Difficulty: Easy • 6 Servings • Total Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 9 tablespoons Stella Aged 10-month Shredded Parmesan Cheese (5 oz)
- ¼ cup pine nuts
- 1 Medium pomegranate
- 1 medium-sized sliced green apple
- 4 cups Kale
- ½ cup Red Onion
- ½ cup Blueberries
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, add 9 tablespoons of Stella Aged 10-month Shredded Parmesan to make 6 small piles, about a tablespoon and a half each.
- On top of each parmesan pile, sprinkle pine nuts and bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
- While the parmesan crisps are baking, you can prepare the salad. Add kale, sliced apple, purple onion, and blueberries in a large bowl. Set aside.
- Pierce the top of the pomegranate with a wine opener. The wine opener screw pulls out the inner flesh that binds the seeds together.
- Using a knife, carefully slice the skin around and down the outer edges of the pomegranate. Then open the pomegranate, and it should look like a flower.
- Over the salad, flip the pomegranate seeds down onto your hand. Using a wooden spoon, firmly tap the back of the pomegranate until all the seeds fall into the salad.
- Once the parmesan crisps have cooled, break them over the top of the salad.
- Enjoy this restaurant-style salad with a pop of cheesy flavor!
Cranberry Pull Apart Bread Christmas Tree
Difficulty: Easy • 8-10 Servings • Total Time: 35 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons Black Creek Cheddar Cheese with Parmesan Notes (7 oz)
- 1 cup Somerdale Wensleydale and Cranberry Cheese Wedge
- 2 Puff Pastry Sheets
- 4 tablespoons Pesto
- ½ cup dried cranberries
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Unfold your thawed pastry sheets and lay them on a clean surface.
- On one of the pastry sheets, brush pesto into a large triangle.
- Next, use a vegetable peeler to spread the Somerdale Wensleydale and Cranberry Wedge cheese over the pesto. The vegetable peeler is a simple hack if you do not have a cheese grater.
- Cut the Black Creek Cheddar Cheese into 4 small cubes. Place the cubes on the empty top corners of the pastry dough, about an inch apart from the tree.
- Take the second puff pastry sheet and lay it over the top, ensuring the edges match up.
- Then using a star-shaped cookie cutter, make a star over each cheese cube.
- To frame the tree, take a pizza cutter and slice the excess dough from the sides.
- Next, using a knife, slice slits on either side of the tree (about 9 slits on each side.) Twist each piece of pastry dough, so they resemble tree branches.
- Lay the cheese-stuffed stars at the top of the tree and sprinkle some dried cranberries.
- Transport the pastry tree to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper—Bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- This Holiday Cranberry Pull Apart Bread Christmas Tree will be a favorite at your next party! Enjoy!
