Avocado Flower Bites

  1. Cut the avocado into slices, and spread to flatten. Place a cookie cutter in the shape of a flower and press down onto the avocado to obtain the shape. In the same way, cut the white cheese and white bread. 
  2. Assemble the appetizers: Place the cheese flower and the avocado flower on bread. Place a mint leaf on the side. Serve and enjoy!

  1. Halve the tomatoes, mix with olive oil.
  2. Assemble appetizers: Pour pesto sauce over a slice of baguette, top with mozzarella cheese, a basil leaf and tomato. Place a halved black olive next to the tomato for the ladybug’s head; add black sesame seeds for its spots and white sesame for its eyes. 
  3. Serve and enjoy these little caprese ladybugs!

  1. Use a potato peeler to cut a strip of skin from the kiwi; then cut in half. Refrigerate.
  2. Outline the kiwifruit with melted dark chocolate to separate the peel from the flesh. Then, draw two  horizontal lines, and place the sugar eyes over it, along with the “gold sprinkle” nose.

  1. Obtain the watermelon pulp, slice and cut with a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Use the same cutter for the feta cheese and white bread.

  3. Assemble the appetizer: Place the feta cheese and watermelon heart on a white bread heart; use the kiwi as the leaves and the sesame seeds as the strawberry seeds. 
  4. Serve and enjoy!

  2. Halve the strawberry and remove the green tops with a melon baller.

  4. Garnish with basil leaves and balsamic glaze. Enjoy!

Kiwi Turtle Mini Tarts

Directions:

  1. Remove the peel from the kiwi and cut in two. Score the halves with a crosshatch pattern to simulate a turtle shell. Set aside.
  2. Cut a green grape into four parts; place on a kiwi half to simulate the turtle’s legs, using toothpicks. Add a whole green grape for the head. 
  3. Use melted dark chocolate to form the eyes. Set aside.
  4. Place pastry cream into a tart shell, and decorate with the kiwi turtle.
