Starbucks Has A New Tiramisu Frappuccino That Dessert Lovers Will Obsess Over

tiramisu frappuccino

Anyone who loves dessert is probably a fan of Starbucks’s Frappuccinos. How could you not be? These super sugary frozen drinks that the chain is famous for are basically like drinking a dessert. They actually have a super small amount of caffeine in them, so it’s hard to take them seriously as a coffee drink (sorry!), but that doesn’t make them any less delicious. Frappuccinos are such an amazing treat when you’re in the mood for one, and the best thing is that there are so many to choose from. The basic Frappuccino menu is good enough on its own (seriously, the caramel one? So perfect!), and on top of that, the coffee chain is always coming out with new flavors that are seasonal or limited-edition specials.

They are also constantly coming out with amazing-sounding Frappuccinos in other countries besides the United States. Seeing these flavors available in a place you may never go to is pretty frustrating… but maybe it gives you hope that they could one day end up here? It’s totally possible when it comes to Starbucks!

The latest Starbucks Frappuccino is going to be one that dessert lovers everywhere will obsess over. It’s a Classic Tiramisu Frappuccino, and it sounds incredible.

Unfortunately, though, this is one of those Frappuccinos that just isn’t made for us in the U.S. It’s been released in Japan for a very limited time.

Even if you are planning a trip to Japan in the near future, you likely won’t get your hands on this Frappuccino.

Unfortunately, it’s only on sale until April 10th. So you’d literally have to go right now!

The drink is made with a mascarpone cheese and egg base, then blended with coffee-soaked sponge cake. It’s finished off with whipped cream and dark chocolate powder, and comes with an extra-wide straw so you can suck up all of those pieces of cake. It literally sounds like a dream come true.

While this may sound like a brand new Frapp, it actually isn’t. The Classic Tiramisu Frappuccino was actually first introduced in 2013.

According to Brand Eating, that drink was different. It was also offered in Japan and was a limited-time-only drink, but it was made differently. It was offered in either a coffee version or a white version. The coffee version was a standard coffee Frapp topped with a layer of crumbled, crunchy black cocoa biscuits and white chocolate brownie bits, with cream cheese mousse and cocoa powder.

The white version had a white caramel creme base, and was topped with the same black cocoa biscuits and white chocolate brownie, but with caramel sauce instead of chocolate on the mousse.

In 2015, the Tiramisu Frapp came to the U.S. It didn’t stick around, but it did inspire a secret menu item.

So who knows? It really could end up back in the United States one day!

We just hope it would be the newer version. That coffee-soaked sponge cake blended in there? It genuinely sounds like heaven.

People all over social media are mourning the fact that they can’t have it. We don’t blame them!

Some users are begging Starbucks to bring it to the States. We’d like to chime in on that.

Others are already planning their trip to Japan. If only.

Some people are low-key torturing us with their photos of the Frapp. We just want to try it ourselves!

This description is honestly making us want to book a plane ticket. How can we get Starbucks to bring this here?!

So… if anyone has any ideas, let us know. Until then, the secret menu Tiramisu Frappuccino will have to suffice.
