To say that Beyoncé and her team put in work for her 2018 Coachella “Homecoming” performance doesn’t quite encompass the true amount of blood, sweat, and tears that went into the show, which is now available to watch in its entirety on Netflix. Beyoncé totally revamped her diet in order to her shed baby weight in just over a month. Her Coachella weight-loss story went live on July 24th, and we’re in awe of her determination.
Before she began intense training just weeks after giving birth to twins Rumi and Sir, Beyoncé weighed in at 175 pounds. “I was a woman who felt like my body was not mine,” Beyoncé says in the YouTube video, uploaded to her channel.
So, to get the Queen back on track before she hit the Coachella stage, her trainer Marco Borges crafted a diet plan called “22 Days Nutrition,” which Bey actually followed for a full 44 days.
“22 Days Nutrition is based on the principle of creating healthier habits by moving towards a plant-based lifestyle,” the 22 Days Nutrition landing page on Beyoncé’s website reads. “They offer a customizable meal planner that makes healthy eating easy, as well as a line of USDA Organic, Non-GMO, plant-based (vegan), delicious products.”
[fm_youtube url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1qv_D7OSQrA"]22 Days Nutrition has expanded into a routine that anyone can follow. Borges and Beyoncé’s team launched the 22 Days Nutrition Meal Planner, “which offers members access to tools and foods that empower everyone to become their healthiest self through proper nutrition.”
Yeah — just like Beyoncé, members of the 22 Days Nutrition Meal Planner network must put in the work to achieve results. And that’s easier said than done.

Sorry, Bey. But we need to know the final weigh-in to see if 22 Days Nutrition is actually worth it.
Obviously, we’re joking. And obviously, the diet and the workout routine worked wonders because girl was looking strong as hell at Coachella.
Beyoncé was 175 before Coachella and dropped all that weight and was still able to be THICK THICK?! AMAZED lol

Our theory is that her baby weight was simply turned into muscle. That’s the ultimate goal, in our opinion.
Swear I was sitting there calculating lol...like if she started at 175 and she was still thick af...how much did she lose?! Felt like a riddle 😂 pic.twitter.com/IjakrLkXtr

And to all those people who are peeved by the fact that Beyoncé’s starting weight is where you are currently, please do not fret. Bey had to perform two hour-long, dance-heavy, sing-heavier Coachella shows.
Beyoncé: that’s my weight, 175

me: holy shit I only weigh 5 pounds more than Bey—
Beyoncé: long way to go

Unless you also have to do that weeks after giving birth, then don’t beat yourself up. Do you, boo.

Besides, she’s Beyoncé and she’s literally a perfect being. We shouldn’t compare ourselves to perfection.
When 175lbs is Beyonce’s starting weight but it’s actually your goal weight. 😩 #thestruggle pic.twitter.com/OBzWL9AYy5

Find solace in the fact that you and Beyoncé had something in common at a point in time. That’s kind of cool, right?
And hey, this video shows that even Beyoncé, perfect as she is, still has goals she likes to meet when it comes to her physical fitness and weight. We’re all in this together!
I love that video. Bea is so inspiring in every way. She shows her truth which is why we love her. She makes all of us feel like we are not alone.

Now that she’s done the damn thing, Beyoncé is fine with gaining back a few of the pounds she’s lost. She’s human after all, and she freaking deserves it.
If you haven’t gotten thick in the right places 😊😊 or gained some weight since you got into that relationship, sis you are in the wrong one 😩😩Look at Jay Z and Beyoncé pic.twitter.com/zQJtB9QGi0

We love Beyoncé at whatever weight she chooses to be at. And we love her for sharing her process of transitioning from one weight to the next.
Jay Z losing weight and Beyonce gaining it. There are no losses in the Carter household.

Sorry, but we’re only ever accepting support for our Queen. If you don’t like that, then leave!
