Gordon Ramsay Cussed Out This Celebrity Who Hated His Food

Gordon Ramsay isn’t one to shy away from a debate. Just ten minutes into literally any episode of Hell’s Kitchen, and you can see he’s not afraid to voice his opinion when people act out of line (or if their food sucks). But his main priority isn’t to tear people down — it’s to make both safe and delicious food worldwide.

One of his restaurants is called the Bread Street Kitchen.

Located in London, they have a seasonal menu that includes everything from salads to desserts. They also have a bar, for people who may just want to grab a drink or two. It’s become a pretty popular hangout destination, especially because the restaurant always tries to keep it fresh.

And that’s exactly what Ramsay did when he introduced a brand new dish on Twitter.

It looks like the folks behind Bread Street Kitchen are trying to be as accommodating as possible to their vegan guests. The chefs created a plate that’s way more enticing than your standard pasta and red sauce. In Ramsay’s words, it’s a vegan roast — even though it doesn’t even look that way.

Just seeing the gravy pour on the roast will make you think your eyes are deceiving you.

But nope — Ramsay simply wanted to expand and cater to different diets.

After posting, Ramsay got a lot of support.

The vegan community seemed psyched to have another option.

Yessss! 🙌 We’re so excited to see more vegan choices on the menu 🌱

Especially since Ramsay has been a little vocal before about the vegan diet.

He, himself, is not a fan and reportedly made some comments in the past insinuating he’d electrocute his children if they chose a plant-based diet.

Hells Kitchen has frozen over, and I friggin love it!!!

And one celebrity has the same sentiments…about Ramsay’s vegan meal.

Let’s just say…Piers Morgan had some unkind words.  “Oh [for f*cks sake], Ramsay… not you as well? This looks utterly revolting,” Morgan tweeted.

The outspoken 53-year-old journalist has been known to get into public debates before.

Remember his very public Twitter fight with Ariana Grande over women in the media?

While the two have made amends (somewhat), it seems like it’ll be harder for Ramsay to forgive Morgan for his harsh comment.

But, he did respond to it. And he did it a very, very Gordon Ramsay way.

“So, Piers Morgan is now a food critic. Go and f*ck Yourself,” Ramsay said on The Late Late Show With James Corden.

SHOCK: Piers Morgan shuts-down anyone elses choices or decisions that don't align with his own

Ramsay admitted on the show that he was eating a piece of humble pie.

Not only is it important to branch out as a chef and try different cuisines, but vegan food doesn’t necessarily have to be bland.

Instagram is one of the best ways to get inspired as to what vegans are making for dinner.

Who knows? Maybe with time, Ramsay will actually try the vegan life, even if it’s just for a week or two.

Even if it’s not for him, at least he’s admitted something huge. Even he can be wrong sometimes.

As it turns out, it may have actually been his kids who inspired them.

So, phew — looks like electrocution isn’t happening anytime soon.

His twins, Jack and Holly, recently celebrated their 19th birthday.

So, they could have inspired Ramsay to get with the times.

But Morgan probably doesn’t care much about the inspiration.

He definitely took the time to respond to Ramsay’s words. He wrote, “Is this the same @GordonRamsay who when asked in 2016 if he had any allergies, replied ‘vegans’ – and who last year tweeted that PETA stands for ‘People Eating Tasty Animals’?”

Still, most of his responses weren’t all that supportive.

It’s completely human to change your mind on an issue.

There were some responses from anti-vegans.

For the most part, they think Ramsay only changed his opinion based on money. That means that yes, veganism is likely on the rise.

Even though Morgan is a bit bitter over Ramsay changing sides, It’s important for all great chefs to honor different diets and allergy specifications if they want their restaurants to thrive.

For some, it may not necessarily be a preference.

Being meat-free may be more of a cultural norm. Others might realize they prefer vegan food without diving that deep into the lifestyle.

Hot take: you don’t have to be completely vegan to eat a primarily vegan diet

Plus, just because Ramsay serves it doesn’t mean he has to eat it all the time.

That’s one of the great things about food — when there’s variety, everyone can be happy.
