Jennifer Garner is no stranger to baking delicious treats. There was that time when she made chocolate cake super early in the morning before her kids woke up, and that time she sold Girl Scout Cookies with a homemade sign. She also makes damn good Super Bowl snacks, too.
Well, Jennifer outdid herself today when she baked a thoroughly detailed How to Train Your Dragon birthday cake for her 7-year-old son, Samuel Garner Affleck.
The chocolate cake is complete with big, green eyes and seven green and yellow candles.
How cute is that?
Here’s what she captioned the pic:
“Well, guess what. It turns out 7 is the age my kid stops thinking it’s cool when I dress up for the party.”
She’s also got two other kids, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth and Violet.
We bet they chowed down, too.
Jennifer is adorably dressed up as one of the movie’s main characters, Astrid. Not only did she nail the Viking-esque costume, she’s got the same awesome green makeup!
Plus, check out those shoes!
Beyond chocolate cake, Jennifer runs a “pretend cooking show” on her Instagram page — and it’s filled with great recipes.
We hear that it might even be coming to TV.
Oh, and here’s that pic of Jennifer helping her daughter sell Girl Scouts Cookies. Pretty cute, huh?
She’s also a pretty good popcorn maker.
Because homemade popcorn is truly the best kind of popcorn.
She even raises her own chickens to get her own eggs. Look at those cute little packages!
I mean, how sweet is Jennifer with her chicken children?
Here’s an ice cream recipe. We trust any recipe Jennifer offers up:
Look at this killer salad!
You can make this after eating a bunch of not-so-healthy chocolate cake.
These would also make a great healthy snack:
There is never a bad time for In-N-Out (especially when you’re sharing it with Ina Garten):
Here she is in full-on Halloween garb making a delish guacamole. The last line in her recipe: “Cast a spell!” Spoopy!
It also looks like Jennifer is always down for dressing up:
She even co-founded Once Upon A Farm, which offers cold-press baby food. Look at this:
How adorable is this? (It seems like something the royal babes would snack on).
Jennifer, we didn’t know we could adore you this much.
We would do anything for Jennifer’s homemade pizza.
Thanks for all the foodie goodness. You’re a great actor, but now we know you’re also a foodie expert.
