The Golden Globes was the event to watch last night. For the fashion-obsessed, you get to enjoy the incredible red carpet attire worn by your fave celebs. And for the movie buffs out there, seeing all of the talent from the past year’s films and shows is always a fun experience. But this year, the fashion and the creative media awards were outshined by the real star: the Fiji Water Girl.
Many viewers quickly spotted the dark-haired lady in blue photobombing A-listers on the red carpet, serving bottles of Fiji and some killer looks. The woman posed as if she were also a famous star (which she basically is, now), and people were absolutely loving it. The water brand reportedly worked with Matrix Model Staffing to hand out their water bottles on the red carpet to gain exposure. Well, it obviously was a hit, because no one has stopped talking about it.

“It’s all strategic,” Fiji Water Girl told the Los Angeles Times. “You’ve got to angle.” And she really did that.
On social media, she’s become the latest meme — people are placing her in pivotal and classic movie scenes, on the actual Golden Globes stage, and with some very relatable sentiments.

The famed Golden Globes star is actually model Kelleth Cuthbert, and she does a lot more than just hand out bottles of Fiji and steal the spotlight from top-notch celebrities. She has modeled for magazines and has partnerships with various fashion and beauty product companies.
The year 2019 is off to a good start, all thanks to Fiji Water Girl. We can’t wait to see all the other ways you’ll be memed for the next few weeks.
