It’s never too early to start prepping for Halloween, right? This Chocolate Butterfinger Pie is the perfect dessert to start the spooky season on the right foot!
Chocolate Butterfinger Pie
Difficulty: Easy • 8 Servings • Total Time: 65 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 cups of Milk Chocolate (melted)
- 1 ½ cup of Peanut Butter (creamy)
- 1 cup of Candy Corn
- Assortment of hard candy
- Pie Tin with removable bottom (tightly cling wrapped)
- Hair Straightener
Directions:
- Pour ½ cup of melted chocolate into your pie pan and swirl it around to give the base of your pie pan a good coating. If you need a little more, feel free to do another coating. Let it set at room temperature (setting in the fridge will cause it to sweat).
- Melt your candy corn and mix it in a bowl with your peanut butter. Mix thoroughly and it will combine to an even mixture that will feel almost like a dough. Form it into a disc and place into your pie pan, ensuring that there’s a ¼ inch between the pan and the disc.
- Pour the rest of your melted chocolate into the pan, covering the disc and filling the sides until your pie is flat on top. Chill at room temperature for about 45 minutes.
- Whilst it sets, place your assorted candy a little at a time, between two sheets of wax paper. Using your hair straightener, melt the candy to thin pieces and let it set for a few minutes to crisp up.
- Once you have an assortment of candy decorations, place them into your pie (have fun with it) and enjoy serving up your Butterfinger pie!
