One and Done with Kraft Heinz

Making dinner for your family sometimes can feel like a chore. Whether it’s because of all the prep—the chopping, boiling, or marinating—or just the cooking process itself, dinner time can be a dread if you are the one preparing it.

But here at So Yummy, we don’t dread any of that at all! We love cooking. We find it to be relaxing—a great way to wind down after a busy day. However, what we do hate is the clean-up, especially when you used tons of pots and pans and dishes.

Our friends at Heinz agree with us, which is why we teamed up with them to come up with these easy one-pot meals! From delicious dishes such as French Onion Chicken Bake to decadent desserts like Tres Leches Latte Cake, these easy and yummy recipes will be a breeze to clean-up!

So, bust out your pot. because these one-pot meals will keep you comfy and cozy all winter long.

French Onion Chicken Bake

French Onion Chicken Bake

Difficulty: Easy • 3 Servings • Total Time: 35 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • Shake ‘N Bake Original Recipe Chicken Seasoned Coating Mix
  • Heinz HomeStyle Savory Beef Gravy
  • 3 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ⅓ cup Kraft Mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • chives, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400ºF. 
  2. Cover both sides of each chicken breast with Kraft mayonnaise. Coat with Shake ‘N Bake Original Recipe Chicken Seasoned Coating Mix, and arrange in a cast iron pan with the olive oil and onion.
  3. Bake the chicken for 20 minutes, then remove. 
  4. Add Heinz HomeStyle Savory Beef Gravy to the pan. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each chicken, and return to the oven until the cheese is melted and the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Sprinkle with chives and serve!

Ooey Gooey Deluxe Mac & Cheese Nachos

Ooey Gooey Deluxe Mac & Cheese Nachos

Difficulty: Easy • 4 – 6 Servings • Total Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients:

  • Kraft Deluxe Original Cheddar Mac & Cheese
  • tortilla chips
  • ½ cup tomato, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced
  • ½ cup black beans
  • 1 avocado, cubed
  • cilantro, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare Kraft Deluxe Original Cheddar Mac & Cheese as directed on packaging.
  2. Without removing from the pot, layer tortilla chips and all toppings directly on the Deluxe Mac & Cheese. 
  3. Cover the pot with a cutting board and carefully invert.
  4. Slowly remove the pot to release the nachos, and serve immediately.

Tres Leches Latte Cake

Tres Leches Latte Cake

Difficulty: Easy • 6 – 10 Servings • Total Time: 3 Hours

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Maxwell House Dark French Roast Ground Coffee
  • 1 box yellow cake, prepared in a 13”x9” pan
  • ⅓ cup half and half
  • 1 12-oz can evaporated milk
  • 1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

Directions:

  1. Using a fork, prick holes all over the prepared cake. 
  2. Combine Maxwell House Dark French Roast Ground Coffee, half and half, evaporated milk and sweetened condensed milk. 
  3. Pour the coffee mixture over the cake. It might feel like too much liquid, but it will absorb!
  4. Cover the cake with plastic wrap, and chill at least two hours.
  5. Whip together the heavy cream and powdered sugar until they reach stiff peaks.
  6. Remove the cake from the fridge and spread the whipped cream on top. Dust with cocoa powder, slice, and serve.

Stuffing Topped Turkey Chili Bowls

Difficulty: Easy • 4 – 6 Servings • Total Time: 1 Hour

Ingredients:  

  • Kraft Stove Top Turkey Stuffing Mix
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 ½ cups chicken stock
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 3 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 3 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot, heat oil, onion and garlic over medium-high.
  2. Once caramelized, add the turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add beans, tomatoes, sauces and spices to the pan. Stir to combine, and bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes.
  5. While chili is simmering, prepare Kraft Stove Top Turkey Stuffing Mix as directed on the box.
  6. Divide chili between oven safe bowls, top each with a layer of Kraft Stove Top Stuffing, then return to the oven for 5-10 minutes, until brown and crispy.

Creamy Chicken Broccoli Mac & Cheese

Difficulty: Easy • 3 – 4 Servings • Total Time: 20 Minutes=

Ingredients:

  • Kraft Deluxe Original Cheddar Mac & Cheese
  • Shake ‘N Bake Original Recipe Chicken Seasoned Coating Mix
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 head broccoli, steamed and cut into florets
  • 3 large carrots, diced
  • thyme, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Prepare Kraft Deluxe Original Cheddar Mac & Cheese as directed on packaging.
  2. In a large skillet over medium high, heat the olive oil and cook the chicken breast, turning until each side is browned. 
  3. Add spices, broccoli, and carrots, and cook until carrots are tender.
  4. Pour the prepared Mac & Cheese into the skillet, and mix to combine.
  5. Serve with a sprinkle of Shake ‘N Bake Original Recipe Chicken Seasoned Coating Mix and a sprig of thyme on top.
