Spidey and His Amazing Friends

Check out these creative ways  to entertain your kids! They will love these fun activities as they get ready to hang with Spidey and his friends this Friday on Disney Junior.

It’s always fun going on adventures with Spidey and His Amazing Friends, from trying this Glow In The Dark Sand to even playing with Race To Web Quarters. New season premieres Friday, August 19th on Disney Junior!

Be sure to tune in to watch Spidey and his friends take on these next amazing adventures! He wants you to come along for the ride with the rest of the heroes!

Shrinky Dinks

Materials:

-Glow in the dark plastic paper

-Sharpies

-Scissors

-Hole puncher

-Oven

-Elastic string

Directions:

  1. Use Sharpies to trace your favorite Spidey and His Amazing Friends character onto glow in the dark plastic paper
  2. Cut the character out 
  3. Punch a hole in the character’s hand
  4. Bake at 200 Degrees for 3-5 minutes
  5. When shrinky dink has shrunk, remove from oven and let cool
  6. Tie string into the hole you made in their hand
  7. Have fun defeating Elektro!

Race to Web Quarters

Materials:

-Multicolored glow in the dark tape

-Spidey and His Amazing Friends Web Quarters toy

-Spidey, Ghost Spider, and Spin’s car action figures

Directions:

  1. Use different colored tapes to create 3 paths back to Web Quarters
  2. Place Web Quarters at the end of the maze
  3. Line your action figures up at the starting line
  4. Race to Web Quarters!

Glow in the Dark Sand

Materials:

-White play sand

-Glow in the dark craft paint

-Neon paint 

-Large tub

-Spidey and His Amazing Friends action figures

Directions:

  1. Fill your large tub white play sand 
  2. Add the glow in the dark and neon craft paint, mix them together
  3. Once your sand and paint are mixed, bury the action figures in the sand
  4. Save the heroes from Sandman’s sand!

Glow in the Dark Bowling

Materials:

-Thick, short glow sticks

-Long, thin glow sticks

-Plastic bottles

-Wiffle balls

-Glow in the dark tape

-Spidey and His Amazing Friends action figures

Directions:

  1. Cut plastic bottles in half
  2. Add thick, short glow sticks to bottom half of bottle
  3. Add Spidey and His Amazing Friends action figures to bottom half of bottle
  4. Push thin, long glow sticks into the wiffle balls
  5. Make the “bowling alley” with glow in the dark tape
  6. Arrange the plastic bottles into a bowling pin formation
  7. Use the wiffle balls to knock over the “pins” and free the heroes trapped inside!

Muffin Tin Escape

Materials:

-Muffin tin

-Glow in the dark tape

-Safety scissors

-Craft “diamonds”

-Spidey and His Amazing Friends action figures

Directions:

  1. Place Spidey and His Amazing Friends action figures in each muffin tin slot
  2. Add the craft diamonds to the remaining slots
  3. Use glow in the dark tape to make “lasers” trapping the heroes in
  4. Help your kiddo use safety scissors to free the heroes!
