The 2018 NBA Finals have begun and the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors are battling for the championship title, yet again. Even if your favorite team didn’t make the cut this year (sorry not sorry, GO CAVS!) or you simply don’t care about basketball, we bet we can still convince you to at least check the scores. Free tacos from Taco Bell are involved. Yes, Doritos Locos tacos are free-ninety-nine, from May 31st to June 17th, at participating Taco Bell locations nationwide. It’s called the Steal a Game, Steal a Taco campaign, which Taco Bell has been running annually for three years now.
So not only are these pro-athletes fighting for an NBA championship — they’re also fighting for a free lunch (for us)! Swish!
The Golden State Warriors just stole a road game in the #NBAFinals. 🎉 That means free Doritos Locos Tacos for America on 6/13 from 2-6 PM.

However, you can’t just walk into Taco Bell and demand free tacos during the finals (even if your last name is James or Curry). Just like the game of basketball, there are rules and regulations. According to the Taco Bell website, if in Game 1, 2, or 3 the team that is on the road wins (“steals”) a game on their opponent’s home court, Taco Bell will give everyone a free taco on June 13th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. This will continue for Game 4, 5, 6, and 7. If during any one of those games either team wins a game on their opponent’s home court, you can go loco on a free taco on June 20th from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Only one taco, though.)

Basketball and taco fanatics, unite! We need these all-star teams to steal some tacos!
For the love of tacos, we desperately need this playoff series to make it to seven games. We want free tacos twice this year, because if you haven’t figured it out by now, we’re a starting player on the team I Love Free Food.
