A Little Girl Crashed Her Mom’s Car Because She Was Craving This One Fast Food

little girl fast food car crash

On Wednesday, July 31st, a 10-year-old girl from Kansas City, Missouri, stole her mother’s SUV and attempted to drive it to her local McDonald’s. Yes, she is really 10 years old. And no, she did not make it to McDonald’s.

According to a press release from the Kansas City Police Department, the girl had a craving for McDonald’s breakfast (as everyone does) just before 7:45 a.m. on the morning of the 31st. Rather than wait for her mother to wake up and drive her to the restaurant, the 10 year old thought, how hard could driving be? I’ll just go by myself. She has some big Ferris Bueller energy, if we do say so ourselves.

After loading herself into her mother’s Chevy Tahoe — a big vehicle for such a small girl — and getting started on her journey, the girl almost immediately got lost. You know, because she’s 10 and has never driven on roads before.

The girl attempted to turn onto a side street, but as the police press release reads, “since she was an unlicensed 10-year-old, she failed to yield to the Honda coming in the opposite direction.” Lordy.

Luckily, although both vehicles sustained “heavy damage,” neither the little girl nor the person driving the Honda were severely injured. The same can’t be said for the stop sign on the corner of 12th and Olive.

Oddly enough, this wasn’t the only bonkers thing a kid did to get McDonald’s recently. Back in April, a 5-year-old called 911 because he had a McDonald’s craving.

Iziah Hall’s grandmother was sleeping, but he wanted Mickey D’s really bad. So, he called 911 to help him out. “I was laughing to myself…5-year-old calls dispatch and orders McDonald’s,” Wyoming police officer Dan Patterson told local station WZZM13.

Lucky for Iziah, Patterson decided to pick him up a Happy Meal on his way to the Hall household to make a mandatory wellness check. Grandma was mad, but Iziah was thrilled.

Obviously, we cannot condone either of these little kids’ behaviors. Even when you have a massive McDonald’s craving, stealing your mother’s car or dialing 911 is not allowed.

But, as McDonald’s lovers will tell you, McDonald’s cravings can make a person do some crazy things. Like…some people will make the drive in the middle of the night.

Because you’re human. Seriously.

Even if you say you don’t like McDonald’s, your body tells you differently. We don’t know what kind of sorcery is at play, but it’s very real.

This person has never even tried McDonald’s (which is kind of sad, TBH). But they’re still craving it anyway. See what we mean about the sorcery?

We could have a full gourmet dinner waiting for us…Yet…

There’s actually not a day that goes by where we wouldn’t crave and eat McDonald’s. It’s a problem.

Don’t even get us started on the McDonald’s Sprite. Don’t do it.

And same goes for McDonald’s Coke. We don’t have the time to get into why it tastes so much better.

So, we totally get why these kids are doing crazy things to get their Mickey D’s. We just don’t approve.

Hey, kids — next time you’re experiencing a McDonald’s craving, ask yourself, am I potentially putting someone in harm’s way by following through with getting this fast food? If so, wait until a parent is available to help you out.

All this talk about McDonald’s cravings has given us…a McDonald’s craving. Surprise, surprise.
