McDonald’s Is Adding A New Breakfast Item To Their Menu — This Is Not A Drill

The year was 2013. People were all about twerking and selfies, and baby North West was born. Plus, you can’t forget that Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed Prince George. McDonald’s also released the Egg White Delight McMuffin that year. Shockingly enough, that was actually the last breakfast sandwich that McDonald’s introduced — until now.

McDonald’s just announced that they’re adding a brand new sandwich to the a.m. lineup. Availability is limited, so you’ll want to grab one quick. And meat lovers, beware. This one could be a little dangerous. It’s called the Triple Breakfast Stacks sandwich, and those triple stacks refer to meat — two sausage patties and bacon, with American cheese and an egg to be exact.

Oddly enough, Delish reports that the brand new sandwich was inspired by McDonald’s fans who happened to fashion it themselves from multiple menu items. That means that yes, McDonald’s listens to the wacky ideas their customers come up with. The sandwich will definitely satisfy the most hearty of appetites. So if your standard Egg McMuffin just isn’t doing it for you these days? Give the Triple Breakfast Stacks a try.

In the video announcement, McDonald’s announced that it’ll be available starting on November 1st.

“People have been hacking our menu for years – so much so that it’s inspired our new Triple Breakfast Stacks,” said Manager of Culinary Innovation Chef Mike Haracz in a press release from McDonald’s.  “We love seeing the fun ways our customers and McDonald’s crew have been creating their own takes on our classics. We can’t wait to see what they come up with next – you never know what might end up on our menu.”

Sounds like a challenge. Next time you go to McDonald’s, you may want to get a little creative with what you order!
