You Can Now Buy Adult Kiddie Pools That Look Like Donuts (And Other Snacks), Because Hello Summer
It seemed like we may have skipped over spring since it’s totally been shorts weather recently. Summer technically starts on June 21st, but there’s no reason why you shouldn’t celebrate early. And the best way to celebrate summer? With an adult-sized kiddie pool that looks like a donut (among other things), of course.
It’s almost like the good people of LaVaca, who created the Minnidip pool, knew that donuts make everything better. The company boasts that it’s the first to create a designer inflatable pool, and come to think of it, I haven’t seen any other contenders in this category. But what I have seen are adults trying hard not to take up too much room in their outdoor kiddie pool, especially if their toddler also wants to use it.
The pool, which is officially called the “DONUT FORGET YOUR SUNNIES! luxe inflatable pool” retails on their website for $70. That’s much less than a pool club membership that lasts the whole summer. And you get to inflate in your own backyard and enjoy many drinks and real life donuts while you cool off. The pool is 5.5 feet wide and 1.5 feet tall and is double the thickness of a standard kiddie pool.
Just imagine — it’s 85 degrees outside. You fill up your donut pool, grab a donut and a glass of ice cold milk (or cocktail), and just relax.
LaVaca says that their Minnidip pool holds up to 125 gallons of water. While all kiddie pools differ, the non-donut shaped pools you can find on Amazon, while cool in their own way, don’t typically reach the triple digits.

The donut is just one of the many types of designer inflatable pools offered up by the company, but it’s by far the sweetest. And that was a tough call to make, since they also offer a pool resembling a watermelon.
