Are you a fan of avocado toast? Of course you are, because you’re a human being with taste buds. And clearly, so is Meghan Markle, who had her friends over for a delicious meal comprised of the oh-so-heavenly avo toast, tea (of course), and chocolate truffles. #Delicious.

The image was posted by Daniel Martin, Meghan’s makeup artist, to Instagram on Sunday, January 20th — the perfect day for a healthy lunch and a get-together with friends. He captioned the pic, “Back to our Tig daysâ€Ļ Thank you Meghan for being the consummate hostess this weekend and still being the #avocadotoast whisperer,” referencing the duchess’s former lifestyle blog, The Tig.

Martin was actually the one responsible for Meghan’s gorgeous, natural, and luminous look during the royal wedding last May. They’re also friends in real life, as he was a frequent contributor for The Tig.

So, in addition to fighting for feminism and social justice, working as an actor and a speaker, and being the best dressed wherever she goes, she’s also a major foodie. Aspirational, Meghan!

It’s no surprise that her get-togethers are worth capturing on Instagram. Meghan has long been a self-professed foodie — even back during her Tig days, when she (accurately) wrote, “I was born and raised in Los Angeles, a California girl who lives by the ethos that most things can be cured with either yoga, the beach, or a few avocados.”

But her work with food goes much deeper.

She actually worked on Together, a charity cookbook that supported the Hubb Community Kitchen, which “celebrates the power of cooking to strengthen communities.” This was put together after the 2017 Grenfell Tower Fire, when the community came together to help make and serve food to those in need.

We admire your community efforts, Meghan — and we’d love to cook up some food for you in thanks (although we suspect you’d probably be the better cook).
