Maple Apple Bacon Pockets

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Serving Size: 10-15 people 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 packs of thick cut applewood bacon
  • 5 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
  • 16 oz assorted cheese, cut in cubes
  • 3 cups mixed green olives
  • 2 cups of caprese salad
  • 1 bag original Pretzel Crisps®

 

Preparation: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. On a sheet pan, place uncooked bacon, Pretzel Crisps®, apple slices and another Pretzel Crisps® and wrap with bacon.
  3. Sprinkle brown sugar and bake for 30 minutes until fully cooked, or a little longer if you want them extra crispy!
  4. If you are interested in a clever way to serve this dish, we used a few pairs of tongs to separate a platter into sections and we served the Maple Apple Bacon Pockets in one section with caprese salad, cheese cubes, and olives in the other sections!

 

Pretzel Crisps Buffalo Bites

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Serving Size: 10-15 people

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8oz) sharp cheddar, cut in squares
  • 1 bottle of buffalo wing sauce
  • 1 bottle of blue cheese dressing, some reserved for platter
  • 2 lbs of cooked shredded skinless chicken breast
  • 4 oz of Blue cheese crumbles, garnish
  • 1 bunch of celery, garnish
  • 3 lbs tri-colored carrots, garnish
  • 1 bag original Pretzel Crisps®

 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix together shredded chicken breast, blue cheese and buffalo sauce to taste.
  3. On a sheet tray, place a Pretzel Crisp®, a scoop of buffalo chicken mixture, cheddar cheese and another Pretzel Crisp®.
  4. Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and filling is warm.
  5. Serve with cut carrots, celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

 

Spicy Corn Chile and Cheddar Dip

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour
Serving Size: 20-25 people 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of fresh sweet corn kernels
  • ½ cup of sour cream
  • 2 cups of cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup salsa verde
  • 2 cups shredded pepper jack
  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar
  • 1 bottle of southern chili seasoning of your choice, to taste
  • 1 cup pico de gallo, garnish
  • Bacon bits, garnish
  • 1 jalapeno sliced, garnish
  • 4 oz cotija cheese, garnish
  • 4 oz buffalo sauce, garnish
  • 2 bags Pretzel Crisps®

 

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the cream cheese and sour cream together until homogenous. In a casserole dish layer corn, sour cream and cream cheese mixture, salsa verde, cheddar cheese, and pepper jack cheese. Sprinkle chili seasoning to taste.
  3. Arrange Pretzel Crisps® in a grid design and bake for 40 minutes, covered.
  4. Top with pico de gallo, jalapenos, cotija cheese, buffalo sauce, and serve warm! You can top section by section or altogether.
