Halloween season is upon us, which means it’s time for costumes, spooky movies, and of course, treats. Surely the star of the holiday is candy, which means it’s time for chocolate and fun-sized snacks that you swear will last all year (but disappear somewhere at the beginning of December). Fortunately, that doesn’t mean that other brands, like Baskin-Robbins, can’t celebrate the season.
The popular ice cream company is bringing back a fall favorite this year, which cookie fans will be quite pleased with. The flavor is called Trick Oreo Treat (clever, right?) and it’s no stranger to the Baskin-Robbins lineup. Fan of cookies and cream? Fan of candy? Well, this ice cream flavor is sure to be an instant hit for those who’ll be trying the flavor for the first time this year.
The ice cream’s base is vanilla, but here’s what it includes: pieces of Baby Ruth and Butterfinger and yummy crumbles of orange-filled Oreo cookies. So yes, the dessert looks just as festive as it tastes. If you’re too old to go trick-or-treating, but want to celebrate anyway, this is probably your best bet.
Baskin-Robbins also made their flavor super Instagrammable. Here are a few pictures of what to expect when you enter the store.
Also of note, Baskin-Robbins is selling a Fang-Tastic Monster Cake that’ll light up any Halloween party you go to. It’s also a good alternative treat if you’re not all that into ice cream cones.
Trick Oreo Treat was brought back at the start of the month and is expected to last all of October. Even if you miss it, it’s a good way to make some use out of the Butterfingers and Baby Ruth bars that might not immediately get eaten from a trick-or-treating stash. (Not that that scenario is likely to happen, but it’s always good to plan ahead just in case.)
