That’s all you need to have decadent, homemade strawberry ice cream waiting for you in the freezer. If you are cutting back on carbs, shop for red lentils. Not only are the two ingredient wraps high in protein, they are also gluten free. Bakers agonize over what ratio of ingredients it takes to bake the perfect biscuit. We say don’t over think a good thing, and use our simple three-ingredient recipe to whip up a gorgeous batch of flakey biscuits.

Three Ingredient Strawberry Ice Cream
Complexity: Easy
Prep Time: 1 hour
Total Time: 9 hours (including time in the freezer)
Servings: 8
Ingredients:
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
- 2 packages of strawberries
Directions:
- Cut strawberries into quarters and roast them in the oven at 300 degrees fahrenheit for thirty minutes. Take out and let cool.
- Using either a hand or stand mixer, pour the 2 cups heavy cream and whip until stiff. Add strawberries to the mixture as well as the sweetened condensed milk. Fold these in with a spatula to incorporate.
- Place the bowl into the freezer for at least 8 hours, overnight is best.
- Enjoy!
Tips: When you roast the strawberries in the oven, make sure to have parchment paper underneath to make it easier to transfer the strawberries and juices to the ice cream mixture. You can dice the strawberries after they come out of the oven to make the ice cream easier to scoop once frozen. You can also put a small amount of granulated sugar and vanilla extract on the strawberries pre roasting if you’d like a slightly richer tasting ice cream.
Two Ingredient Gluten Free Wraps
Complexity: Easy
Prep Time: 3 1/2 hours
Total Time: 4 hours
Servings: 10
Ingredients:
- ¾ cup red lentils
- 1 ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons salt
Directions:
- Rinse your lentils well. Then put in a blender or food processor.
- Pour the water over and let sit for at least 3 hours.
- Once lentils have absorbed most of the liquid, add 2 tbsps of salt and puree until a smooth consistency is reached.
- Using a ¼ measuring cup pour batter onto a nonstick pan over medium heat. Let cook for about 2 minutes.
- Flip and allow the other side to cook for about the same amount of time. Use this wrap for breakfast tacos or anything else you feel like!
Tips: If you would like a more flavorful wrap, feel free to add any spices or herbs while you add the salt to the lentils. It should not affect any of the cooking time.
Five Ingredient Cookie Bars
Complexity: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 40 minutes
Servings: 9
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup chocolate chips
- Salt (for topping)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Mix together the peanut butter, egg, and sugar with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth. Fold in chocolate chips with spatula.
- Line a 9 by 9 (or 8 by 8) pan with parchment paper with an overhang.
- Place batter into the prepared pan and top with flaky sea salt to taste.
- Place in the oven for 20 minutes and then check on the cookie bars. If the top is browning but the middle isn’t set yet, you can always put foil over the top of the pan and leave the cookie bars in the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes.
- Once the middle is firm, take the pan out of the oven and let cool. Slice and enjoy!
Tips: For thicker bars, double the recipe! If you double the recipe the bars will need to bake longer, about 50 minutes in total. These bars are a little crumbly so embrace the mess and feel free to use them as the bottom of an ice cream sundae!
Three Ingredient Biscuits
Complexity: Medium
Prep Time: 30 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 6
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup butter
- ¾ cup buttermilk
- 2 cups self rising flour
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 450 degrees fahrenheit. Place butter in the freezer for 10 minutes.
- Grab your box grater and place a piece of parchment paper into a box grater to allow for easy cleanup. Then grate the butter on a box grater, holding the butter by the label to try and keep as much heat away from the butter. Once you get half way through the stick of butter, you can stop.
- Place the grated butter into a bowl and add the self rising flour. Slightly mix the two together and then add the cold buttermilk.
- Using a wooden spoon mix the ingredients together until a shaggy dough forms. Then using your hands form dough into a ball and place onto a floured surface.
- In as few motions as possible, roll out the dough into a big square that is 1 ½ to 2 inches thick.
- Using a biscuit cutter, cut out 6 biscuits. (If you don’t have enough space on the square that’s fine, you can reroll the scraps to make more biscuits).
- Brush melted butter on the biscuits tops once on a sheet tray. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden!
- Enjoy!
Tips: To make sure biscuits rise, press straight down with biscuit cutter. You can also make sure that the edges of a biscuit aren’t sticking together by pushing the edges up with your finger. And for flaky biscuits, put the buttermilk, butter, self rising flour mixture in the fridge for 15 minutes before forming the dough. If you do not have a box grater you can cube the butter and pulse it with the flour in a food processor. You want the butter to be about pea sized if using this method.
Three Ingredient Breakfast “Cookies”
Complexity: Easy
Prep Time: 25 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 ¾ cups old fashioned oats
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Directions:
- Place both bananas in a bowl and mash with a fork until no large lumps remain. Add old fashioned oats and chocolate chips.
- Mix together and then let sit for 20 minutes to allow oats to hydrate.
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Once the oats are hydrated, scoop mixture onto a parchment lined baking sheet. If you would like them to resemble cookies and not granola balls, press down mixture with a metal measuring cup or spatula and shape them into a flat cookie.
- The mixture will not spread in the oven. Place ‘cookies’ into the oven and let bake for 10 minutes.
- Take out and let cool before enjoying!
Tips: Take these cookies to the next level by adding chopped up cranberries and almonds! Or any other ingredients you’d enjoy in the morning.
Three Ingredient Brownies
Complexity: Easy
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:
- 1 ¼ cup Hazelnut chocolate spread
- 2 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- ½ cup all purpose flour
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
- Whisk all ingredients together and then put batter in parchment lined 8 by 8 baking pan.
- Bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool before cutting with a knife preferably.
- Enjoy!
