Panera Bread fans, listen up, because things are about to get a lot more exciting. The fast food restaurant is introducing some new menu items, and they seem like they’re going to be their most delicious items yet. Is your stomach grumbling for Panera Bread’s new menu? Because ours definitely is (times ten).
First up on the list of new and exiting things happening at Panera is the Ten Vegetable Soup, which sounds like a winter delight. It also seriously packs a punch when it comes to delivering the veggie goods: tomatoes, red and yellow peppers, onions, corn, carrots, celery, spinach, poblano peppers, garlic, seasoned vegetable stock, chickpeas, sprouted brown rice and red fife, dried Aleppo chili, and a lemon wheel. If you haven’t been eating healthy lately, this is definitely a good place to start. But hey, if you decide to eat it in a bread bowl, we won’t judge.
Speaking of eating healthier, Panera has also introduced a new salad to their menu. It’s the Spinach, Bacon & Poppyseed Salad, which contains Applewood-smoked bacon, a hard-boiled egg, pickled red onions, gorgonzola cheese, frizzled onions, and spinach tossed in poppyseed dressing. This sounds like all of our favorite things in one perfect salad.
For those days when you’re looking to treat yourself…
There is now the Build Your Own Mac & Cheese option, which sounds like a cheesy dream. According to Panera’s website, it features “tender shell pasta in a blend of rich cheeses including our tangy Vermont white cheddar cheese sauce, topped with your choice of high-quality toppings.” Do you mean to say that we can have whatever we want added to our mac? Sign us up!
In terms of their bakery selection, according to Chew Boom, Panera also unveiled a new croissant menu in honor of National Croissant Day on January 30th. It includes a plain croissant, almond croissant, and chocolate croissant for all your French pastry cravings. We’ll take all three.
Thank you, Panera Bread, for continuing to make our stomachs happy. We love you.
