This Waffle House Pregnancy Announcement Went Viral For The Sweetest Reason

As Leslie Knope would tell you, waffles are always the best thing on the menu. But we don’t have to share that info with Patrick Dux. He’s a waffle-head through and through. In fact, Patrick and his wife Christy frequent their local *four* Nashville Waffle Houses so frequently, they decided that the only proper way to announce their bundle of joy was with a Waffle House Waffle House pregnancy announcement. And their pic should be framed and hung on every Waffle House wall.

“He has been going to the Waffle House since he can remember,” Christy told Southern Living of her husband’s love and commitment to the Waffle House. “He and his family went all the time; we even continue their Christmas Eve tradition of dining there.”

So, it was no surprise to Christy that Patrick wanted to bring the Waffle House into such an important and memorable time in their lives.

“Table for 3 coming in July! #BearSquared #HashbrownsForThree #ThatSmile,” Patrick captioned a February 4th Instagram photo of him and Christy at a Waffle House table. A highchair is placed at the head.

Patrick tagged himself and Christy at the Waffle House, and because of that, the official Waffle House Instagram caught wind of their sweet-yet-hilarious pregnancy announcement.

@wafflehouseofficial shared Patrick and Christy’s pregnancy announcement photo on their page on February 5th. As of today, February 8th, their pic has over 1,600 likes.

And everyone is showing Patrick and Christy so much love. Kudos to these two for thinking outside the box.

We would not be surprised if the baby shower — and the baby’s first, second, and third birthdays — are held in this Waffle House. It would only be right.
