It’s safe to say that Starbucks is no stranger to deliciously festive beverages. In fact, one might even say that the popular coffee chain is at the forefront of seasonal treats. For example, their pumpkin spice lattes have become ~the~ drink of autumn, whether or not you like to admit it. Then, come winter, Starbucks peppermint mochas and gingerbread lattes steal the show. And now that a new year is around the corner, the company is bringing back a fan favorite: the Black and White Mocha Collection.
Starting December 26th, Starbucks will serve three delicious “Black and White” beverages.
From chocolate “sequins” to rich chocolate sauces, the Black and White Collection looks (and tastes) like New Year’s Eve. The lineup consists of three mouthwatering concoctions: Black and White Mocha, Frappucino, and Hot Cocoa.
The Black and White Mocha — which can be made hot or iced — consists of hot espresso “poured over dark mocha sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce,” according to the official Starbucks press release. Next, steamed milk is added to the beverage before it’s topped off with whipped cream and a “black tie” of chocolate sequins. Yes, please.
The Black and White Frappucino is the collection’s version of the Frappucino, Starbucks’ beloved blended coffee drink. It’s a delicious blend of dark and white chocolate mocha sauces, Frappuccino® roast coffee, milk, and ice. The drink is also finished off with whipped cream and chocolate sequins.
And if you don’t drink coffee? Well, you can still get in on the festivities! The Starbucks Black and White Collection also includes the Black and White Hot Cocoa, a beverage made with luscious swirls of dark mocha sauce, white chocolate mocha sauce, and steamed milk of your choice. (Oh, and whipped cream and chocolate sequins, of course.)
The Starbucks Black and White Collection will be available at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada. You can get the limited-edition holiday drinks starting today, December 26th, through the new year.
