Starbucks Released Three New Pink Drinks Featuring Strawberries, The Only Fruit We All Love

We hope you’re ready to think pink because Starbucks just released three new strawberry pink drinks in honor of October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. There’s a slight catch, though. These three new beverages are only available at Starbucks Indonesia locations. But honestly, they might be worth the trip.

As of October 2nd, Starbucks Indonesia is offering three unique pink strawberry-flavored drinks in celebration of their #PINKVOICE campaign. All the proceeds from the pink beverages will be donated to Lovepink Indonesia, a non-profit organization that focuses on breast cancer awareness, prevention, and early detection.

Not only are the company’s Indonesian customers doing a great thing by purchasing a pink drink, but they’re getting something great in return.

The first new beverage on the menu is the Pink Macchiatto, made with “fresh milk with vanilla and strawberry-flavored syrup and espresso,” according to Starbucks Indonesia’s website. Next up is the blended Fantasia Yoghurt Frappuccino, which contains ice, milk, strawberry, and vanilla-flavored syrup. It’s also topped with raspberry whipped cream.

And finally, there’s the Strawberry Cold Foam Iced Espresso, made with strawberry cold foam and espresso, “allowing you to savor the silky strawberry cold foam with coffee notes in every sip,” says Starbucks Indonesia. Sounds heavenly.

This is the second year that Starbucks Indonesia has teamed up with Lovepink for the PINKVOICE campaign. This year’s theme is “Chat That Matters: Talk About It, Share It, and Save More.”

Together, Starbucks and Lovepink will host several events throughout October in Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Bali, and Yogyakarta to encourage women to get serious about breast cancer prevention.

Of course, you don’t have to live in Indonesia to take part in Breast Cancer Awareness Month. While you dream about sipping on one of the three pink drinks Starbucks Indonesia currently has on the menu, check out your local breast cancer non-profits like WearItPink.org and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

And hey, if you know your way around a Starbucks menu, you can probably MacGyver together your own pink drink. It’s times like this when being BFFs with your barista pays off.
