A Successful Cuffing Season Food Guide

Did lonely come knocking on your door yet? Don’t fret, the cold nights of hugging onto a pillow for comfort is coming to an end. Cuffing season has arrived. For those unfamiliar with the term, allow me to explain. Cuffing season is the time of year when the weather starts to cool off, the social events are scarce, and more time is beginning to be spent alone. You’re not the only person feeling this social life and climate shift.

Soon, a person of interest will be requesting cuddle time and a movie to enlighten this time.

That first movie night will soon turn into an every weekend thing.

Every weekend will soon turn into every evening and next thing you know, you’re “cuffed”. This routine is generally seasonal and after the ice melts so does the feelings you’ve acquired for this person over these past months; cuffing season is over.

However, don’t think about the ending yet, this season has just begun and here’s a food guide to make sure you make it a success.

1.) Chocolate chip cookies.

After you’ve made that lavish dinner to impress your cuffing choice, chocolate chips cookies are simple to make. Chocolate chip cookies will soothe both of your sugar cravings while binge-watching that TV series.

2.) Pancakes.

Even if your “nighttime exercises” were pleasing to your cuffing partner, they still want something to look forward to in the morning. What’s better than waking up to the smell of pancakes (earn bonus points by delivering the pancakes to them in bed). I guarantee they’ll stick around for many more mornings.

3.) Veggie & Dip spread

It’s not warm, or sweet, but hear me out before you scroll down. Nobody wants to gain 15 lbs during the winter and spend the majority of summer getting rid of unwanted weight. Remember this is seasonal and might not last, so stay sexy. Keep a balance with your cuffing eating habits and eat your veggies.

4.) Nachos

Nachos can be a great bonding and flirty method. Feed your partner a chip or two. Learn what toppings he/she likes and get to know them better. I mean can you really trust a person that doesn’t like guacamole? You might find yourself needing a new cuffing partner.

5.) Brownies & Ice cream

Just because it’s so good. Also, if you incorporate chocolate syrup, you might find other places and reasons to use that…..

6.)  Hot Chocolate (spiked)

The frequent partying may have stopped due to weather conditions, but that doesn’t mean you two can’t party at home. After your cuffing partner gets off of work and meets you at home. Greet them with a warm hot chocolate with a kick and get the party started right.

Food is essential to cuffing season and ultimately the key to someone’s heart. If feelings grow stronger than expected during this time make sure your food game is impeccable. Your cuffing season could have potential and end up lasting a lifetime.  For those still attached to their single ways, appreciate the food and lust you’ve shared with your cuffing partner and end on great tasting terms. You might need them for next year. But for now, just spring into your summer fling.
