As if visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at California’s Universal Studios Hollywood isn’t magical enough, you can now buy Harry Potter-themed ice cream in the ~most enchanting~ flavor. Accio, Butterbeer Ice Cream! This creamy treat that tastes like shortbread and butterscotch will make you believe that magic exists.
Right now, hard-packed Butterbeer Ice Cream is currently available at Harry Potter World’s Three Broomsticks and at several ice cream stands scattered throughout Hogsmeade. This new flavor of ice cream joins a growing list of Butterbeer-flavored items like Butterbeer Fudge, Butterbeer Potted Cream, and of course, the classic Butterbeer served in both liquid and slush form.
Even though Butterbeer Ice Cream is a newsflash to us, Universal Studios Orlando has been doling out Butterbeer Soft Serve for a few months now. Instagram user TheEarCollector describes the soft serve treat as, “delicious, rich, and tastes exactly like a frozen Butterbeer.” Those visiting the Florida location can pick up a cone or a cup of Butterbeer Soft Serve at Florean Fortescue’s Ice Cream Parlor.
