Churro Board

1 hour

Medium

1 board

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. To make the churros: Combine water, butter, brown sugar and salt in a pot. Let simmer, then add the flour. Mix well to remove any lumps. Continue to cook over low heat for 3 minutes. Transfer to a mixing bowl and mix until it cools a bit, then add eggs one at a time. Place dough inside a piping bag with a star tip.
  3. Place 6 oven-safe small glass bowls in a circle over a tray and pipe the churro in zig zag around the bowls so they are joined together. Then, pipe over the bowls to cover completely.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F and bake for 20 more minutes. Remove from oven and let cool.
  5. Repeat step 3 and 4, this time with three small bowls forming a circle. Then repeat once more with a single bowl.
  6. Once cool, place the 3 bowl tier on top of the 6 bowl layer, and then the single circle on top.
  7. Fill the bottom tier churro bowls with raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, marshmallows and pretzels.
  8. Make two small holes in the top bowl using a straw, leaving the straw inside. Pour chocolate sauce and watch it pour over the three middle tier bowls! Enjoy!
