Easy Croissant

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF.
  2. Cut the crescent dough into three 7-inch circles.
  3. Cut one round piece into six 3.5-inch high triangles, making each around ½” narrower than the previous triangle.
  4. Place your largest triangle on the table and stack the rest of your triangles on top of it, from largest to smallest. Then, use a chopstick to create a central fold. Take the tips of all your triangles and fold them under your bottom triangle. Fold the sides of your dough inward to finish creating your croissant shape. Repeat with your two remaining round pieces of dough.
  5. Bake for 10-13 minutes on a parchment lined baking sheet, until golden brown.
  6. Dust with powdered sugar and serve with butter and raspberry jam. Enjoy!

Butterfly Cookies

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream together the sugar and butter until puffy and lighter in color. Add the vanilla and egg, mixing well. Finally, add flour and cornstarch and continue mixing until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Divide dough in half and color one half with pink food coloring.
  3. Roll out your dough cut both into strips 7” long and about 1” wide.
  4. Place a pink cookie dough strip over a white one and roll them up ¾ of the way through.
  5. Slice the rolled cookie dough through the middle, vertically. Place the halves of dough side by side and press with a wooden stick to form the butterfly wing shape.
  6. Pinch the sides of the wings to make them pointy. Fold the antenna inward to finish the butterfly shape.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

  1. Whisk the eggs, milk and butter in a large bowl until well combined.
  2. Add your flour and sugar and mix until the consistency is runnier than pancake mix.
  3. Set your electric crepe maker to medium temperature and add ¼ C of your crepe batter.
  4. Using a wood stick, spread your mixture evenly and cook for 1 minute or until the crepe begins to brown.
  5. Remove with a spatula and wait for it to cool.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until you have 3 crepes.
  7. Spread ricotta filling on your crepes and fold.
  8. Serve with whipped cream, raspberries, chopped pistachios and powdered sugar. Enjoy!

Flower Eggs

  1. Lay out a rectangular piece of plastic wrap over the table, large enough to wrap 2 eggs.
  2. Arrange 5 thin wood skewers evenly spaced out on the plastic.
  3. Place your hard-boiled eggs at the bottom of the plastic wrap and wrap them up to completely cover with plastic, making sure the wood sticks remain evenly spaced.
  4. Refrigerate the wrapped eggs for at least 2 hours.
  5. Unwrap the eggs and slice them into 6-8 pieces.
  6. Serve your flower-shaped eggs on toast, garnish with chives and thyme and enjoy!

Waffle Pops

  1. Set your waffle maker to medium heat.
  2. Insert a lollipop stick into the back of each cake slice.
  3. Fully submerge each cake slice in the waffle batter to coat.
  4. Cook for 1 minute in the waffle maker or until golden brown.
  5. Once cooled, dip in the melted chocolates, dip into sprinkles and refrigerate for 5 minutes. Serve with a glass of milk and enjoy!

Sausage Skewers

Directions:

  1. Lay out a rectangular piece of plastic wrap on the table, large enough to wrap a sausage. Place ⅓ C ground pork in the center of the plastic wrap.
  2. Place a wood stick in the center of the ground pork.
  3. Wrap the ground pork around the wood stick with the plastic wrap. Use the back of your hand to shape the sausage into a tubular shape.
  4. Unwrap your sausage and transfer it to a lightly oiled pan on medium heat.
  5. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until fully cooked.
  6. Repeat steps 1-6 to make two more sausages.
  7. Serve with queso dip and enjoy!

Easy Tomato Toast

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Blanche the tomato for 1 minute. Let cool.
  2. Using a wood stick, rub the tomato skin until it comes off.
  3. Spread your roasted garlic cloves onto your baguette slices.
  4. Grate your tomato over your baguette slices. Serve with a sprinkle of salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
