Ingredients

  • 2 cups royal icing, divided, in pink, white, and red
  • 4 heart-shaped cookies

Instructions

  1. Start by filling a bowl with white royal icing. Add a drizzle of pink and red royal icing over the white icing in the bowl, alternating directions of your zig-zagging.
  2. Take a toothpick and from the center, delicately drag the toothpick in a swirl motion through the colored icing. This technique creates a marbled design.
  3. Take each cookie and gently dunk it into the swirled royal icing, allowing the design to transfer onto the surface of the cookie. Set the cookies aside to dry completely.
