Ingredients
- 2 cups royal icing, divided, in pink, white, and red
- 4 heart-shaped cookies
Instructions
- Start by filling a bowl with white royal icing. Add a drizzle of pink and red royal icing over the white icing in the bowl, alternating directions of your zig-zagging.
- Take a toothpick and from the center, delicately drag the toothpick in a swirl motion through the colored icing. This technique creates a marbled design.
- Take each cookie and gently dunk it into the swirled royal icing, allowing the design to transfer onto the surface of the cookie. Set the cookies aside to dry completely.
