Deadly Deviled Eggs

2 hour 45 minutes

Easy

12 Servings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Start with hard-boiled eggs. Gently crack the eggshells without removing any shell fragments.
  2. In a bowl of water, mix purple food coloring. Submerge the cracked eggs in this colored water. Refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours or overnight to allow the color to set.
  3. Once the eggs have absorbed the color, remove them from the water. Carefully peel off the eggshells to reveal a fun and spooky cracked appearance.
  4. Cut the eggs in half and pop out the yolks into a separate bowl. Combine the yolks with pickle juice, mustard, and mayonnaise. Mix until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
  5.  Transfer the yolk mixture into a piping bag. Fill a skull-shaped silicone mold with the mixture. Gently tap the mold to remove any air bubbles. Refrigerate for approximately 30 minutes, or until the mixture has solidified.
  6. Remove the set skull shapes from the mold. Place each one on top of an egg white half to create deadly deviled eggs that will be a hit at your next party!

Purrfect Cat Cookies

2 hour 30 minutes

Easy

24 Servings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sugar and butter. Beat the mixture until creamy.
  2. Add the eggs, one at a time, making sure to beat well after each addition.
  3. Now, add the vanilla extract and continue to beat until everything is thoroughly mixed.
  4. In another bowl, combine all the remaining dry ingredients except for the candies.
  5. Slowly add this dry mixture to the butter mixture, using the mixer on low speed. Continue to mix just until no flour is visible.
  6. Shape the dough into a ball and then flatten it until it’s about 1 inch thick.
  7. Wrap the flattened dough ball in plastic food wrap and place in the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.
  8. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  9. Take chilled dough out of the refrigerator and roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4-inch thick.
  10. Use a 4-inch round cookie cutter to cut out cookies from the rolled dough.
  11. Place these cookie shapes onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
  12. Press the pronged part of a fork on each side of the cookie to create the whiskers.
  13. Above the whiskers add two pieces of candy corn on the cookie for eyes and one red skittle candy for the nose. Use your fingers to gently pinch up the top edge of each cookie to form cat ears.
  14. Bake the cookies in the preheated oven for 9-10 minutes.
  15.  Allow the cookies to cool, then carefully transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely. Enjoy your purrfect cat cookies!

Skull Caprese Salad

20 minutes

Easy

2 Servings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Begin by preheating your oven to 400°F.
  2. Take two sheets of mozzarella and place them over a silicone mold that has 1.5-inch skull-shaped cavities. Alternatively, you can sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the mold to create a cheesy layer. Carefully place the mold in the preheated oven.
  3. Allow the mozzarella to bake in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until it has completely melted. Keep an eye on it to prevent overcooking.
  4. Once the melted mozzarella has cooled, gently remove the mozzarella from the mold. This will reveal a sheet of perfect skull-shaped cheese. Carefully cut out the cheese skulls from the sheet.
  5. Arrange the cheese skulls on a plate, creating a spooky and fun presentation.
  6. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the top of your skull caprese salad. Enjoy!

Strawberry Ghosts

30 minutes

Easy

12 Servings

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Begin by placing white candy melts in a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat them in the microwave in 35-second intervals until they are completely smooth. Be sure to stir between intervals to ensure even melting.
  2. Dip each strawberry into the melted white chocolate, leaving a substantial amount of chocolate on the bottom end.
  3. Place the dipped strawberry on a sheet of parchment paper. While the chocolate is still soft, gently drag the strawberry up in a wave-like motion to create a ghostly tail effect. Allow the chocolate-covered strawberries to set completely.
  4. Once the chocolate is fully set, take a small food-safe paint brush.
  5. Dip the paintbrush into black gel food coloring. Carefully paint eyes and a mouth on each strawberry to give them their spooky ghost faces.
  6. Your ghost strawberries are now ready to be enjoyed!
