Dunkin’ Donuts is Releasing Special Donuts to Celebrate Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Wedding

Chances are, you weren’t invited to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding. But just because you won’t be there in person doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate them from home. If you’re planning a royal wedding viewing party (the festivities start at 5 a.m. Eastern Time), Dunkin’ Donuts just made your royal spread a lot sweeter. They’re making royal wedding donuts, because can you think of a more delicious way to honor the institution of marriage? We certainly can’t.

Dunkin’ Donuts calls the heart-shaped royal wedding donuts the “Royal Love” donuts. And they sound royally delicious. Each Royal Love donut is filled with jelly, topped with chocolate icing, and decorated with a strawberry drizzle. They look and sound so yummy, we think that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should consider adding them to the royal dessert table. Markle is American, after all. Having Dunkin’ Donuts at the royal wedding sounds like a beautiful marriage of cultures to us.

The Royal Love donut is “perfect for serving up a little sweetness while readying for the royal festivities,” a Dunkin’ Donuts press release states, according to Fox News.

Fox News also reports that the royal wedding donuts will be available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts stores from May 14th-20th. But it looks like a few lucky customers already got their hands on the Royal Love donut.
