This Is How Meghan Markle Won The Royal Kids Over With Food

By now, we all know that Meghan Markle is somewhat of a pro in the kitchen. Remember her simple, sexy pasta sauce? But aside from playing with flavors, she also knows how to make food kids actually like. And if there’s anything we know about Kensington Palace, it’s that there are a couple kids wandering around. You can thank Prince William and Kate Middleton for that.

Even though it’s doubtful that Princess Charlotte and Prince George are harsh critics, Meghan managed to make a big impression by giving them fun homemade goodies every time she visited. Food is, of course, the way into everyone’s heart. Surely she’ll make sure to cook for 4-month-old Prince Louis as well, as soon as he’s ready for solid foods.

The news was reported by The Mirror, who talked to a royal source. Meghan reportedly visited Kate a lot prior to the royal wedding, and every time she did, she brought a little something for the kids. “Meghan often pops around to visit with Kate and the kids, dropping off treats,” the source stated.

The maneuver is actually genius. Every time they see Meghan, they’ll know she might have something yummy for them. It’s a great way for anyone to feel special.

While it’s unconfirmed what kind of treats Markle made for the royal kids, or even that this is something she did, we can only imagine the kind of delicious food she’s made since becoming a duchess. Cookies with a secret healthy ingredient? DIY French fries (we do know that Markle loves her fries)?

It was reported that Meghan first met Princess Charlotte back in early 2017, just months after it was announced that Meghan and Prince Harry were seeing each other. Meghan Markle has also admitted that she’d like to start her own family someday. It wouldn’t be a surprise if her incredible cooking skills get passed down.

Though Meghan Markle used baked goods to win over the royal children, it’s important to note that there are certain types of food they’re not allowed to eat. To learn more, click here.
