Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Shared Secret Photos From Their Wedding, And We’re Crying

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had quite the year. On May 19th, Meghan and Harry celebrated their first wedding anniversary. It was just last year that we celebrated their union with an incredible ceremony at Windsor Palace’s St. George’s Chapel. To commemorate their first year of marriage, the official Sussex Royals Instagram page shared a few behind-the-scenes photos from the big day.

“Happy one year anniversary to Their Royal Highnesses, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex!” the post from the @SussexRoyal Instagram account reads. “Today [May 19th] marks the one year anniversary of the wedding of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”

@SussexRoyal also included a message from the Duke and Duchess in the post, which read, “Thank you for all of the love and support from so many of you around the world. Each of you made this day even more meaningful.”

The photoset of 14 never-before-seen pictures offers a glimpse into the more personal side of the day. Meghan and Harry look relaxed, excited, and ready to take on the world together. Playing over a rendition of “This Little Light of Mine,” we can’t help but get a little misty thinking about how historic their wedding day truly was.

Harry looks so ready to get married as he makes his way downstairs with brother Prince William. That grin is killing us.

Remember how cute it was when Prince Charles stepped in to walk Meghan down the aisle? And he was so happy to do it!

And we loved watching Harry and William nervously banter before Meghan walked through the door. Will was probably like, “Chill out, bro. You’ll be fine.”

The entire day was so spectacular. And we’re so honored to get to see some shots of the more private side of the event.

After the couple attended several royal tours and events throughout the year, Meghan and Harry announced the arrival of their baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, on May 6th. The couple had recently finished refurbishing their home, Frogmore Cottage, just in time for Archie’s arrival.

Harry told the media that both mother and son were healthy and happy, and then proceeded to thank the nation for their love and support. He also thanked the horses in the stable behind him.

Now Meghan and Harry have moved onto their next stage of marriage: being parents! We have a feeling they’re going to do just great.

They certainly have a large familial support system behind them. And of course, we’re all cheering them on.
