The “Spoonula” Is The Perfect Tool For Professional And Lazy Chefs Alike

Whether you consider yourself an amateur baker or a professional chef, we can all agree that kitchen tools aimed at making our lives easier are the best. And the Spoonula is just that — a life hack you can hold in your hand. It’s half rubber spatula, half spoon, and makes any cooking adventure a breeze.

We put our Spoonula to the test and baked up these ooey-gooey brownies with fudgey frosting from Mel’s Kitchen Cafe food blog. And yes, we only used the Spoonula. No whisk, no electric mixer, no wooden spoon needed.

What’s so great about the Spoonula — which you can buy here — is the unique shape.

The tip of the tool is super flexible, which came in handy when creaming together the butter, chocolate, and sugar.

The flexibility also lent a major hand in scraping the sides of the bowl, which had a troublesome little ledge at the bottom where our brownie batter wanted to hide. But the sneaky mix was no match for the Spoonula.

So Yummy

Folding dry ingredients into the wet was also a simple task thanks to the firm rubber spatula-like features of the Spoonula. And being able to pick up a substantial amount of batter during each fold-in motion thanks to the tool’s cupped shape was very helpful.

That brings us to transferring the brownie batter into the baking pan — which was an incredibly easy task. Being able to scoop up large amounts of batter, plop it into the pan, and spread evenly with the back of the Spoonula was smooth sailing.

As was mixing up the frosting and spreading it on the brownies once they were cooled.

So Yummy

Besides tackling a batch of brownies, we plan on using the Spoonula the next time we make our famous buffalo chicken dip for game day. And we’ll also pick it up again when we need the last little bit of pancake batter stuck to the sides of the bowl. Any time there’s a goopy situation in the kitchen, the Spoonula will rescue us time and time again.

The Spoonula is BPA, BPS, and phthalate-free, and can be thrown in the dishwasher after use. Plus, you don’t have to worry about it melting on your electric cooktop — it’s made with a heat-resistant silicone that can withstand temps up to 550°F.

So Yummy

Guys, the Spoonula is a kitchen gamechanger. Ditch your regular rubber spatula now and grab a Spoonula for yourself (and all the other cooks/bakers in your life!). You’ll never look at scraping, scooping, and spreading anything and everything the same way again.

You can find the Spoonula here.
