While they look pretty attached to a string of lights, mason jars can be used for many different things. Here are 11 things that you probably didn’t know you could do with a good ole mason jar.

1. Blender Hack

All you have to do is unscrew the blade component of your blender and use it as the top of your mason jar and then use the blender as normal. You get the perfect amount and reduce what you have to clean.

2. Cupcake Liner Hack

For this hack, all you have to do is wrap a cupcake liner over the opening of your jar and then screw the lid back on, without the flat part. You’ll have a no-mess way of drinking. Just poke a straw through, we suggest a reusable straw too! Save the sea turtles!
