There’s a new reason to pull into the drive-thru. McDonald’s has teamed up with Crocs for a limited-edition Happy Meal tied to one of high school basketball’s biggest annual events, and the excitement from fans has been hard to miss. The collaboration dropped nationwide on March 10, and if the social media buzz is any indication, these Happy Meals won’t be sitting around for long.

Six Collectible Keychains Come With Every Meal

Every McDonald’s All-American Games x Crocs Happy Meal includes one of six mini Crocs keychain toys, each designed in the brand’s signature clog style. Each keychain also comes with Jibbitz charm stickers, so fans can personalize their mini shoe however they like. With six different designs in the mix, there’s plenty of reason to keep coming back.

The Happy Meal Box Has a Surprise of Its Own

Flip the box over, and there’s more to explore. The meal arrives in a specially designed All-American Games-themed Happy Meal box featuring Crocs-inspired cutouts and a jersey printed with the number 26. Customers can also scan the QR code on the box to unlock a digital gaming experience, or head to HappyMeal.com for even more activities. It’s a full package for basketball and Crocs fans alike.

It’s All Tied to High School Basketball’s Biggest Stage

The Happy Meal has a bigger occasion behind it. It’s a celebration of the 49th annual McDonald’s All-American Games, one of the longest-running high school basketball showcases in the country. This year, 24 top female and 24 top male players, handpicked from more than 700 nominations by analysts, scouts, and coaches, will take the court on March 31 at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona.

The Games Have a Hall of Fame–Worthy History

The McDAAG alumni list reads like a who’s who of NBA royalty. Magic Johnson played in 1977, Michael Jordan followed in 1981, Shaquille O’Neal in 1989, Kobe Bryant in 1996, and LeBron James in 2003. For nearly five decades, the games have served as a proving ground for the country’s top young players, making each new class part of a tradition that keeps growing.

McDonald’s Says This Collab Is About More Than a Meal

According to McDonald’s, the promotion is designed to tap into the pre-game rituals basketball players know well, whether that’s putting on a lucky pair of socks, listening to music, or grabbing a favorite meal before tip-off. “Basketball is back at the Golden Arches, and this year, Crocs made the roster,” the company said in its press release.

A Donation Comes With Every Purchase

Tucked inside this collaboration is a cause worth mentioning. Every Happy Meal purchase includes a donation to Ronald McDonald House Charities, the nonprofit that provides housing and support to families with seriously ill children staying near hospitals. So beyond the collectible toy and the game-day fun, each meal contributes to something a little bigger. It’s a small detail that makes the meal mean a little more.

This Isn’t the First Time These Two Have Joined Forces

McDonald’s and Crocs aren’t strangers to the Happy Meal space. The two brands collaborated on a similar keychain toy promotion back in 2024, which makes this year’s sports-inspired version a welcome return that picks up right where they left off. This time around, the sports tie-in gives the toys a fresh angle that feels tailor-made for game day.

Fans on Social Media Are Already Buzzing

When McDonald’s posted a video of the new Crocs toys on Instagram, the comments section lit up fast. “How awesome, I can’t wait for these!” one fan wrote. “This drop feels nostalgic,” said another, while a third simply commented, “I’ll take 100 please.” It’s clear the excitement is real, and with only one keychain per meal, completing the full set of six will take some dedication.

Here’s What to Know Before You Go

The McDonald’s All-American Games x Crocs Happy Meal is available now at locations nationwide, but only while supplies last. McDonald’s hasn’t confirmed an official end date, though the promotion may wrap up around the March 31 game day. Elizabeth Campbell, vice president of marketing for McDonald’s USA, said, “We can’t wait to welcome the Class of 2026 into this storied legacy and cheer them on as they write the next chapter of basketball history.”
