Ham & Cheese Croissant Roll Bake

Difficulty: Easy •  16 servings • Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 16 slices Hillshire Farm Honey Ham Lunch Meat
  • 16 crescent roll dough triangles
  • 16 slices of swiss cheese
  • 1 egg (egg wash)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough. Place one slice of honey ham and one slice of cheese at the wide end of each triangle, then roll them up tightly.
  3. Arrange the roll-ups in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. About 16–18 rolls should fit.
  4. Brush the tops with egg wash.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp. Tip: If the rolls brown too quickly, loosely cover the dish with aluminum foil for the remaining bake time.
  6. Let cool slightly, then serve and enjoy!

Smoked Sausage Breakfast Hash Bake

Difficulty: Easy • 8 servings • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage
  • 1 lb or 2 cup sliced potatoes
  • 2 Anaheim chiles, diced and seeded
  • 1 Red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish, then add the sliced potatoes, sausage, bell peppers and chiles. Season with salt and pepper, tossing to combine.
  3. Use the back of a spoon to make 4 small wells in the mixture. Crack one egg into each well.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the eggs are set to your liking. Tip: To prevent the eggs from overcooking, cover the dish with aluminum foil for the first 20 minutes, then remove the foil for the final 10 minutes to let everything brown nicely.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

LIT’L Smokies Mac & Cheese Cups

Difficulty: Easy • 8 servings • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 8 Hillshire Farms LIT’L Smokies
  • 1 ½ cups uncooked elbow noodles
  • 3 ½ cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the elbow noodles and cook until al dente, about 10 minutes.
  3. Drain the noodles and let them cool slightly, then transfer to a large bowl. Stir in the milk, egg, salt, and cheese (reserving ¾ cup for topping). Mix until well combined.
  4. Using an ice cream scoop, portion the mixture into an 8-cavity cupcake tin. Sprinkle the reserved cheese evenly over the tops.
  5. Place a Lit’L Smokie on top of each portion, then bake for 20–25 minutes, until the edges are golden and crispy.
  6. Allow to cool for 5–10 minutes. To release, run an offset spatula or butter knife around the edges of each cup. Serve warm and enjoy!

Smoked Sausage Flatbread Pizza

Difficulty: Easy • 8 servings • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • ½ Package (6 oz) Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage, sliced
  • 3 oz Pizza dough
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 3 cups Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 Tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup fresh arugula

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough into your desired pizza shape.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the center, leaving about a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Brush the edges of the dough with melted butter to create a golden crust. Top the pizza with smoked sausage slices.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh arugula, and enjoy!

Honey Ham and Grilled Pineapple Bites

Difficulty: Easy • 1o servings • Total Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 10 slices Hillshire Farms Honey Ham Lunch Meat
  • 10 cubes Pineapple

Directions:

  1. Slice a pineapple into 1-inch cubes making 10 pieces.
  2. Using a kitchen torch or hot grill, sear the pineapple until the outside is caramelized.
  3. Take a slice of Hillshire Farm Honey Ham lunch meat, fold it, and place it over a pineapple cube.
  4. Secure the ham and pineapple together with a skewer.
  5. Repeat the process with the remaining cubes.
  6. Serve and enjoy with friends and enjoy the perfect sweet and savory snack!

Sweet Heat Smoked Sausage Bites

Difficulty: Easy • 14 servings • Total Time: 55 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 packages (14 oz each) HillShire Farms Smoked Sausage
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a cast iron skillet, add the chopped smoked sausage.
  3. Stir in the Dijon mustard, brown sugar, and barbecue sauce until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the sausage is glazed.
  5. Serve warm with toothpicks for the perfect party snack. Enjoy!

Smoked Everything Bagel Puffs

Difficulty: Easy • 15 servings • Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package Hillshire Farms Lit’L Smokies
  • 1 package puff pastry pre-made dough
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp Everything bagel seasoning

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Slice the puff pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
  3. Roll each Lit’l Smokie in a strip of puff pastry.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk the egg. Brush the seam of each wrapped Smokie to seal.
  5. Brush the tops with more egg wash, then sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning.
  6. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and crisp.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Smoked Sausage Jambalaya Skillet

Difficulty: Medium • 12 servings • Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 Package Hillshire Farms Smoked Sausage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound medium shrimp
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 ½ cups long-grain rice
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • ¼ cup green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the sausage slices and shrimp, cooking until browned and crisp at the edges, about 5 minutes. Remove them from the pot and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add the onion, bell pepper, and celery. Sprinkle in the seasoning, then sauté until the vegetables are softened.
  3. Stir in the rice, letting it toast lightly in the pot for about a minute to soak up all the flavor. Pour in the diced tomatoes with their juices and the chicken broth, stirring well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, undisturbed.
  5. Once the rice is done, return the sausage and shrimp to the pot, stirring gently to combine. Cook for just a few more minutes until everything is heated through.
  6. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot. Enjoy!
