World Cup watch parties start with sweet treats and a ShopRite run!

Every great World Cup watch party needs a few essentials: your favorite team, plenty of excitement, and a dessert spread worthy of a championship celebration. Whether you’re gathering friends for a big match or turning every game into an excuse to celebrate, festive sweets are an easy way to bring extra fun to the occasion.

This collection is packed with playful treats inspired by the world’s biggest soccer tournament, combining creative decorations, crowd-pleasing flavors, and plenty of team spirit. They’re the kind of desserts that spark conversation, look great on the snack table, and make every goal feel a little sweeter.

The best part? Everything you need to create these game-day goodies can be found at ShopRite. From baking staples and decorating supplies to all the finishing touches that bring the theme to life, a quick trip down the aisles is all it takes to get match-ready.

Trophy Cupcakes 

Difficulty: Medium • 6 servings • Total Time: 25 minutes 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bowl & Basket Light Brown Sugar
  • ½ cup Bowl & Basket White Chocolate Chips, melted
  • 6 frosted cupcakes
  • Gold luster dust

Directions:

  1. Spread the Bowl & Basket Light Brown Sugar in a small bowl until about 1”-2” deep. Firmly press a clean trophy toy into the sugar to leave an imprint.
  2. Carefully fill the imprint with the melted white chocolate. Let set until firm, then repeat with remaining chocolate.
  3. When the trophies are set, coat them with gold luster dust.
  4. Place each trophy on a frosted cupcake, and enjoy!

Soccer Ball Caramel Sandwich Cookies

Difficulty: Medium • 4 servings • Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 15 oz Sugar cookie dough
  • 15 oz Chocolate sugar cookie dough
  • 1 cup Dulce de leche

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll the cookie dough into balls about ¾” big.
  3. Arrange the balls on the lined sheet in a circle, alternating colors like a soccer ball. One cookie uses about 11 balls, and you should have enough to make 8 cookies.
  4. Flatten the balls with a flat bottomed glass or bowl.
  5. Bake for about 10 minutes or until set. Once baked, remove from the oven to cool.
  6. Transfer the dulce de leche to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  7. To build the sandwiches, pipe the dulce de leche on the underside of one cookie and top with another. Repeat to make four cookie sandwiches.

Soccer Ball Cake Pops 

Difficulty: Hard • 8 servings • Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups Bowl & Basket White Créme Baking Chips, melted
  • 2 cups cake pop dough
  • 1 cup black candy melts, melted

Directions:

  1. Roll the cake pop dough into 8 balls about 1 ¼” big.
  2. Insert a lollipop stick in each ball, dipping the end in candy melt first to help secure.
  3. Dip each cake pop in the melted Bowl & Basket White Créme Baking Chips, then set aside to set completely.
  4. Transfer the black candy melts to a piping bag with a very fine opening. Slowly draw the black patches and seams of a soccer ball. Allow to fully set.

Black and White World Cup Bark

Difficulty: Easy • 8 servings • Total Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients: 

  • 16 Ferrero Rocher Assorted Chocolate Squares
  • 1 ½ cups Bowl & Basket White Créme Baking Chips, melted
  • 1 cup chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
  • ½ cup sprinkles

Directions:

  1. Line the bottom of a small square pan with parchment paper.
  2. Pour half of the melted white chocolate in the pan.
  3. Arrange the unwrapped Ferrero Rocher Assorted Chocolate Squares on top of the melted chocolate in an alternating pattern.
  4. Add the remaining white chocolate on top, followed by the crushed cookies, and finally topped with sprinkles.
  5. Let the bark set completely at room temperature before cutting or breaking into pieces to serve.

Meet Me On The Pitch Donuts

Difficulty: Medium • 6 servings • Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Bowl & Basket Confectioners Sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ½ Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 6 donuts
  • Food coloring

Directions:

  1. Cream together the Bowl & Basket Confectioners Sugar, butter, and vanilla, then divide the frosting into two.
  2. Color one half of the buttercream frosting with black food coloring, then transfer both colors into individual piping bags fitted with star tips.
  3. Use the buttercream to create a soccer ball design on each donut, alternating colors to match the pattern. Enjoy!
