Even if you no longer “keep up with the Kardashians” (trust me, I feel you, this reality series has gone on longer than my college tuition debt), you still can’t hide from these reality TV stars. They’re everywhere! Khloe Kardashian’s pregnancy journey has especially grabbed many people’s attention for a myriad of reasons. We’re not just talking about the whole Tristan cheating fiasco, we also mean Khloe’s openness about her pregnancy life — all of which can be followed on social media and her app. I’m sure most pregnant women and moms were amazed by her pregnancy fitness routine and diet. At six months she vowed to remain healthy and released a video of her doing an intense squat based work-out.
She stated on her app, “If I’m not doing something, I just feel off, ya know? I can’t beast out in the gym the way I could six months ago — and, let’s get real, it’ll be a few more months before I can again — but I’m definitely doing what I can.” You go, girl! Because with swollen ankles and on and off nausea I would be perfectly fine doing nothing.
As many of you know, Khloe endured a traumatic ninth months of pregnancy that a session at the gym probably couldn’t fix. Just hours after videos surfaced of her boyfriend, Cleveland Cavalier center player Tristan Thompson, kissing and getting physical with two unidentified women, Khloe went into labor. (At least, that’s the timeline the Kardashians/TMZ gave us.) She gave birth to baby girl True Thompson. Can you imagine the wrath of emotions, leading up to the welcoming of True? Even sister of Khloe, Kim Kardashian West stated on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, “I don’t even know how to describe it besides, it’s just so f—ed up.”
So, her choice of food post-labor is relatable on several levels. Khloe made a definitely made the decision I would make; she went to McDonald’s. According to People, Khloe Kardashian admitted that the first food she ate post-labor was a McDonald’s hash brown. She revealed on her app “I love how I said the first thing I was going to have after labor was a smoothie and what I actually ate was a McDonald’s hash brown,” Kardashian continued and wrote. “LOL! What can I say, True and I worked up an appetite!” That hashbrown was well deserved, Khloe.

Khloe is known for promoting clean eating — she’s really devoted to her healthy lifestyle (if you disagree, pick up a copy of Revenge Body, or just watch the show). However, she has fallen victim to fast food a few times during her nine-month pregnancy. We found out she loves that chicken from Popeyes!
I am starving! I sort of want Popeyes. I’m not sure though LOL the struggle is real 🤰🏼

Ok that fulfilled every craving I’ve been having for Popeyes over the past couple days. Letting the food craving build up is actually better lol I’m so satisfied now. Yum yum! I feel guilty but GREAT

Whether it’s cravings or comfort food, I don’t see anything wrong with a few dinners that come from a drive-thru. Girl deserves it, and as moms know, fast meals are a blessing when you’ve got a little one to take care of 24/7.
However, this new mommy is eager to get back to the gym. According to Shape, Khloe has been cleared by doctors to go back to working out, and she updated her Snapchat saying, “So day two, let’s see how this goes,” she said. “It is a struggle getting back into the groove of working out, oh man.” She continued, “I hope it’s a little better than yesterday. My ass and thighs are so big now that I am now wearing my sauna suit on the bottom, so I hope that sweats some of it off.” Not sure if that’s how it works, but hey.
I’m rooting for you, Khloe! you deserve an amazing bounce back and all the McDonald’s your heart desires.
