Without us even asking for it, Kylie Jenner shared her daily morning routine with us via Instagram Stories. On February 17th, the reality TV star and makeup guru shared a series of photos on her Instagram Story, walking followers through her morning diet-related ritual. And like we saw with her daily breakfast, it’s a pretty simple routine.
Jenner first showed off a huge 16 oz. glass of bright green celery juice. Yup, celery juice — the trendy juice that’s been taking over social media.
“I try and drink about 16 oz. in the morning and wait 30 minutes before eating,” Jenner captioned the pic. She added, “Celery contains high amounts of vitamin C and K, as well as folate and potassium, and studies show that celery plays a role in fighting and preventing cancer and liver disease, [reducing] inflammation and [boosting] cardiovascular health. Calms nerves, relieves migraines, and promotes weight loss.”
Celery juice is still fairly new within the health food community. Goop’s “Medical Medium” Anthony William calls it a “miracle juice” that aids the central nervous system, cleans out the liver, and can strengthen one’s bile, which is essential for breaking down fats.
However, other experts like Rachel Berman, RD, who spoke to Delish, celery’s effects on inflammation and overall health hasn’t been as widely studied as other fruits. So, it’s recommend you consult a doctor before diving headfirst into the celery juice craze — specifically for weight loss.
Even Jenner clarified that she doesn’t drink celery juice for the weight-loss aspect. She included another photo in her Instagram Story stating she drinks it “for the health benefits not the weight loss.”
Jenner also uses a coconut milk collagen creamer in her morning coffee. This dairy-free supplement allegedly helps one grow thicker hair, stronger nails, and can fight aging of the skin. You can check out Jenner’s fave from Vital Proteins here. According to Business Insider, there isn’t a lot of data out there that supports these claims. However, collagen is a great source of protein.
Finally, as we learned about a week ago, Jenner’s breakfast is pretty much the same every day. She eats scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, and sliced avocado.
She gave us an up close and personal look at said breakfast on February 8th. It’s a good thing she labeled the food because we honestly wouldn’t be able to tell what we’re looking at.
She calls her breakfast boring. But honestly, we’ve had that combo before, and we think it’s pretty delicious.
Now that we know what Jenner does to stay radiant, beautiful, and always on fleek, we may have to try her routine out for ourselves. And we’re not the only ones who might be giving celery juice a go.
Hmm…although, maybe our regular green juice is just fine. Right?
Just look at that neon green color. Will this stuff make us turn into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle?
If so, we want to be named Jenner — you know, after the modern-day makeup artist. Or, should we say artiste.
Then again, some people are into the taste and can get over the color. It’s just celery, after all.
I tried celery juice today and it was good... literally just tastes like celery why does everyone hate it so much!? 😂🤣

But hey, if it makes us look and feel like we’re red-carpet ready, then perhaps it’s worth a shot. *Nervous gulps.*
Looking forward to my celery juice tomorrow pic.twitter.com/P9Tbfuhzsl

Who wouldn’t want to be a part of this celery-juicing crew? If we start juicing can we also get a neon green bathing suit to match?
Us trying celery juice for the first time (just picture that water is green):
If you’re wanting to try out Jenner’s daily diet plan, give your doctor a call first to get their opinion. If they give you the go ahead, then start juicing. Good luck.
