What season is better than Autumn? It is truly a beautiful time of year. It’s even more beautiful when we make some delicious recipes that really put us in our fall-feels.

Whether its the leaves changing colors, or maybe the smell of pumpkins and pumpkin spice in the air, or the amazing food you eat this time of year, it really is a special season. Football is starting, Halloween is around the corner, and the air is finally beginning to get cooler. What better way to warm up than with one of these warm dishes that’ll keep you snuggled up in a blanket all night long! So with that being said, let’s kick things off and get cooking!

Recipe#1: Butternut Squash Soup

Soup’s up! Who can forget the first part of the meal. It is often the lightest part, but still a great way to deliver a flavorful spoonful. A Fall classic recipe is butternut squash soup. It goes great with a warm and toasty bread, and also is an excellent way to introduce your meal. There is no better quintessential fall dish than butternut squash soup. Don’t forget to add some soup croutons!

Pumpkin pie is an incredible dessert to serve during the fall time. It is often seen at Thanksgiving, the end of fall, but there really is no bad time for it. You can serve it the classic way, with some Cool Whip on top, or you can get creative and maybe pair it with a spicy-flavored ice cream and cover it in some honey-bourbon glaze. Pumpkin pie also traditionally comes from the can, so it is not that difficult to make. While some may not like the idea of a “canned” pie, it is without a doubt that pumpkin pie is a top tier dessert in the Autumn.

Beef stew, another beautiful fall dish you cannot go wrong with. The beauty of beef stew is it’s not simple, but it’s not hard to make. Really, the most important component to have is the Crockpot, since this is a considered a crockpot recipe. With the Crockpot you can include carrots, celery, potatoes, and the most important part, the beef! People then include different accompanying sauces like wine or something that will create a glaze. The different components all come together creating an amazing bowl you will be running back to the kitchen for more.

Now cornbread is another great option for a fall classic. It takes an essential fall vegetable, corn, and turns it into a delicious and sweet bread that is hard to resist. Some people will put cornbread in their chili, or maybe some will serve it at Thanksgiving with all of the other tasty fall-inspired dishes. Get funky with it and include some butter on top or maybe some sweet maple syrup. Go international with your cornbread and make it elote corn bread. Cornbread is a classic you truly cannot go wrong with.

Maple butter probably wouldn’t be considered a staple, but it sure is a great way to get fall-in-a-can. Maple butter is great on pancakes, with biscuits, or dare I say it, on its own! Maple butter is simply too good to put down. Many people have started to find spicy foods to use maple butter with. For instance, spicy Korean-style fried chicken, covered in maple butter. What part of that sounds bad? It would be too good to put down! You cannot go wrong with maple butter.

It’s a beautiful time of year when you know you can full embrace your love for all things pumpkin-flavored.

Chili is a great way to bring together all of the delicious components of fall time. Chili is warm, protein-packed, and filled with flavor. It has beans, beef, onions, cheese, and sometimes even bacon! The truth is chili has many different avenues. You can make it vegetarian, carnivore-style, or make some to go on top of cheese fries.
