Skillet Beer Cheese
Difficulty: Easy • 4-10 Servings • Total Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 cups Bowl & Basket Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 block Bowl & Basket Cream Cheese
- 1 red jalapeno, finely chopped
- ½ Tbsp cayenne
- 12 oz Lager beer
- for serving: Bowl & Basket Specialty Kettle Chips, Bowl & Basket Cupz Tortilla Chips, Bowl & Basket Pretzel Sticks
Directions:
- Combine the cheeses, jalapeno, and cayenne in a large cast iron pan.
- Place the pan over high heat, and add the beer.
- Stir constantly until fully melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and serve right away. Enjoy with Bowl & Basket’s Cup Tortilla Chips, Pretzel Sticks, and Specialty Kettle Chips!
Roasted S’more Covered Strawberries
Difficulty: Easy • 4-10 Servings • Total Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pt strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1 ct marshmallow fluff
- 1 sleeve Bowl & Basket Graham Crackers, crushed
- 2 Bowl & Basket Specialty Chocolate Bars, in pieces
Directions:
- Pierce each strawberry with a campfire skewer. Dunk to coat in marshmallow fluff (you may need to microwave the fluff for a few seconds to loosen it up!), then roast over an open flame.
- Add the pieces of Bowl & Basket Specialty Chocolate Bars to a small, heat-resistant vessel, and melt.
- Dip the toasted strawberries in the melted chocolate, and roll to coat in crushed Bowl & Basket Graham Crackers. Enjoy while still warm!
Campfired Crispy Rice Treats

Ingredients:
- 10 Bowl & Basket Crispy Rice Treats
- 1 ct Bowl & Basket Hazelnut Spread
Directions:
- Unwrap each Bowl & Basket Crispy Rice Treat, and pierce with a campfire skewer.
- Toast the Crispy Rice Treats over an open flame until golden brown.
- Cover the toasted treats in Bowl & Basket Hazelnut Spread, and serve.
“Pepper Pig” Cheese Dogs
Difficulty: Easy • 5-10 Servings • Total Time: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 pkg Nathan’s Famous Skinless Beef Franks
- 20 jalapenos, deseeded
- ¼ pkg Bowl & Basket Sharp Cheddar Cheese Block, in ½” x 3” slices
- 1 pkg Bowl & Basket Sliced Potato Hot Dog buns
- for serving: mustard
Directions:
- 1. Slice the ends off each jalapeno, and make a cut through the length of each one.
- 2. Make a cut along the length of each Nathan’s Famous Skinless Beef Frank. Fill with two slices of Bowl & Basket Sharp Cheddar Cheese, then slide two jalapenos onto the dog, fully covering them.
- 3. Brush lightly with neutral oil, then add to a grill. Cook until jalapenos are blistered and the cheese is melty.
- 4. Remove the dogs from heat and add to Bowl & Basket Sliced Potato Hot Dog buns. Top with some mustard, and enjoy!
Camping Banh Mi
Difficulty: Easy • 4-10 Servings • Total Time: 2 Hours
Ingredients:
- 1.5 lb Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Fresh Pork Loin
- 3 Tbsp Wholesome Pantry Organic Real Mayonnaise
- 1 bunch Wholesome Pantry Organic Cilantro
- 1 jalapeno, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 2 baguettes, halved
for the Quick Pickles:
- 2 C carrots, peeled, in matchsticks
- 2 C daikon, peeled, in matchsticks
- ¼ C granulated sugar
- 1 Tbsp kosher salt
- 1 C water
- ½ C rice wine vinegar
Directions:
To make the Quick Pickles:
- Combine the carrot and daikon matchsticks in a medium bowl. Add the sugar and salt, and massage into the vegetables until fully absorbed.
- Transfer into a clean jar, and pour the water and vinegar over top.
- Screw on the lid, and refrigerate at least two hours, or overnight.
To make the Banh Mi:
- Prepare the Smithfield Applewood Smoked Bacon Fresh Pork Loin according to the package instructions. Make sure it reaches an internal temperature of 145ºF. Let rest 5 minutes before thinly slicing.
- Spread each of the baguette halves with Wholesome Pantry Organic Real Mayonnaise. Top with slices of pork, the jalapeno and cucumber, the Quick Pickles, and a handful of Wholesome Pantry Organic Cilantro.
