So Yummy

What’s better than a tasty treat that satisfies your sweet tooth? How about one that is not just delicious, but also healthy! So Yummy has partnered with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze® to bring you five dessert-inspired smoothie recipes. The drinks are equal parts refreshing, filling and decadent; however, the best part is the nutritional value that comes from each smoothie. Almond Breeze® contains 50 percent more calcium than dairy milk and is an excellent source of vitamins D and E.

All of the recipes highlight this delicious lactose-free and soy-free milk substitute. The unsweetened varieties of Almond Breeze® have 40 calories or less per cup and are also low on the glycemic index, making them an ideal choice for people who want to avoid sugar.

You’re going to love how rich the Good-for-You Tiramisu Smoothie tastes without the sugar overload that comes with eating the traditional Italian dessert. For the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie, we used a fun hack to create the shortcake crumbles. We combined Blue Diamond Almond Protein Powder® with almond butter, agave and a pinch of salt for crumbles that add an incredible dessert-inspired element to your smoothie. You’ll truly feel like you’re indulging in a decadent after-dinner treat.
