YASSS: These 4 International McDonald’s Menu Items Are Coming To The U.S.

When you walk into a McDonald’s, you pretty much know what to expect. Items like the Big Mac, the McNuggets meal, and their signature apple pie aren’t going anywhere — despite the occasional rumor. It’s just what they’re known for. Even though it’s not the greatest thing to walk into a McDonald’s while overseas(since there are often better places to discover), it’s tempting when your foreign Mickey D’s has items you’ve only heard about online. Like, say, the McSpicy Chicken. But lucky fans will soon be able to experience some of these foods without booking a plane ticket, as McDonald’s is offering them up for a limited time.

Of course, there’s a catch. It seems like the international food will only be available in 50 locationsthroughout Southern Florida. But still, that’s not too bad. Typically, promotions like this are targeted at just one location, such as their headquarters in Chicago. Seriously — at the McDonald’s Global Menu Restaurant, you can order foods outside of what you can typically grab at a McDonald’s. And as a workspace, it may very well be one of the most innovative fast food headquarters around.

Curious about the four new-to-us McDonald’s items set to hit South Florida?

First up is the Grand McExtreme Bacon Burger from Spain. It comes as a single or double quarter pounder with fresh beef. Making the sandwich even more special is its McBacon sauce, Gouda cheese, Applewood smoked bacon, Gouda cheese, and onion toppings.

You can order it along with a side of BBQ McShaker Fries from Malaysia, which include a seasoning that’s not typically available in American stores.

If you’re not into beef, the aforementioned McSpicy Chicken would be a good substitute. Originally from McDonald’s locations in China, it has a special seasoning that adds to its intensity.

Finally, you can close out your meal with a Stroopwafel McFlurry, which sounds like a dream come true.

It’s understandable why McDonald’s isn’t rolling these out to every location just yet — they’re a big operation, and there’s a lot that goes into these items that a standard McDonald’s wouldn’t already have in inventory. But still, maybe it’d be nice if they branched out a bit more, and at leastserved these to the McDonald’s up the street from my place. It’s not too much to ask for, right?
